"Happy Pongal" To all the Arasi viewers

January 12th update - brief update

Arasi and her hubby continue to talk about forgetting the tragedy at Dhanushgodi. He says Arasi is one of the few people who are able to forgetting emotionally matter and focus on professionally issues. She says it not so easy when it comes to her daughter.

Selvi and Yogi haves a chat. She ask whats wrong with her dad, and says he can tells her about everything. He is about to talk about Arasi, but Prabha and Viji arrives there. Selvi ask what are they doing here, Prabha says mum called us and asked to come here so we can do a pooja so they could have a child.

Latha comes joins them, Selvi she even didn't thought about the idea of pooja, Latha comments on how will think when she is just a stepsister. Yogi hears this and begins to shout at her and ask her to leave. Latha make a big issue and Yogi almost became violently but Selvi stops him.

GJ is talking on his cell phone. Andhavar shoes GJ to the ghondas. One of the ghondas goes near GJ and pretend to do exercise, GJ is impressed with this guy and ask him to teach him some steps. The guy agrees and goes back to Andhavar who is very impressed with the gonda guy, as he had faced the enemy face to face.

Uday and Rani is doing a pooja for get child blessing and in parallel they are showing Prabha and Viji with the same pooja. Yogi sees Arasi and walk up to her. She ask why he is following her and he says she just wanted to see if she has changed her mind in past two days.

sivamni also sees the two guys and runs away..
she runs and tells her husband we will leave please i fear that i'll change back again
husband denys and says we came as family and will leave as family.if you have any trouble tell me i'll try to resolve it

kaveri sees arasi while playing and when she runs into them..she is shocked(that is displayed as a anamalai statue in beach being hit by waves.....dont know y)
arasi pets her and so does kalai..they say she is a cute child and tell her not to COME alone without mum
kaveri runs to selvi and drags her to the spot shouting i saw ma i saw.....selvi asks waht ..she is too shokced to express and just repeats i saw ma
i saw her just like you
selvi just consoles her and makes her swing ...

the two guys chasing sivamani run back to sudha(shanthi from kolangal) saying its her..she saw us and ran

in a hotel arasi family dines together and are happy they got a family chance to be together
udhay's wife sees 2 golden spoons on the table and tells udhay..
"nalla iruku ila??"
udhay understands and warns her not to do this and get caught by madam and sir please
she still stares
udhay helplessly says i'll have hold of htis spoon and place it back when leaving then only u will listen

he places the two spoons in the pocket
the manager of the hotel sees it and shouts at udhay
arasi gets upset and asks udhay to show the pocket
she picks out the 2 spoons
udhay says madam please listen to what i have to say
she doesnt wait for all that and gives one tight slap to udhay and leaves dispappointed

udhay is embarssed

Brief Update for Mon Jan22

--In selvi's house, every one is very sad about Ceylon mani's disappearance and Niranjan looks devastated.Yogi stands lost in his thoughts and Thangam asks him some foolish thing and when he does not answer, she makes her usual comment and tells selvi that she feels something is wrong with him because he suddenly gets up from his sleep. May be you have to take him to yerwadi and get an amulet for him perhaps.

--Selvi goes to Yogi and asks him what is the problem. Nopw all the family members surround yogi and still he refuses to open his mouth. Selvi now threatens that if he does not reveal the truth, she will not ask further but will not speak to him further at all.She starts to go away but Yogi stops her and starts to speak but suddenly Niranjan comes with wounds on his face and everyone runs to him. ( Obviously Yogi will not reveal now)
Niranjan says he has found about his wife. Hesays she is in mandapam now with her brother and when he wanted to see her, he was beaten up by some men there and was not allowed to see his wife.
Selvi says she will go to see ceylon mani and takes Niranjan's child and goes alone.

--Arasi with her husband (forgot his name). Arasi not sleeping yet and her husband looking at her is worried. Now the same double dialogue starts like the earlier one where she talks of selvi and he talks of their daughter kalai. She says she is worried about what will happen. He says we are goimng to do homam for kalai and everything will be ok. He says don't worry too much about what will happen if someone makes a mistake. In his point of view, if wife does a mistake, she has to bear the responsibilities for that.Arasi looks confused.

--In her new home, Ceylon mani is crying and her ex-lover tries to give food which she throws out. He says your hisband came and tried to see but we have thrown him out and may be we have to shift our place now.
Now selvi comes and sees Mani's brother who sits at the entrance.
Selvi says she has come to return mani's child back to her. Bro says she has left that life far behind and no question of going back. He says just look at us--our clan was 50 strong and now we are only 4 of us left and we need mani here and don't try to take her away.Selvi says earlier it might have been like that but now this child needs mother and the child can't grow without mother. Why should the child be punished by separating from mother?
Finally she tells him that if he has good interests towards his sister, he should consider what is good for his sister.

Update for Mon Jan 29, 2007

Continuation of friday's story.
Arasi's family,selvi's family and GJ come in separate vehicles but the camera keeps on zooming them together.
On getting down from the vehicle, Karthikeyan talks to his assistant who gives him some papers.
Selvi comes home followed by Thangam,yogi and Thamarai's father.Tam's father says it is a relief to come home. Thanfgam corrects to say it is selvi's home and tells yogi in a low voice why we can't let go of this guy? Yogi shouts at her and hushes her up and when she leaves, he apologises to Tam's father.
Selvi wearing a neck brace sees Kaveri crying for daddy and feels sad.

Arasi tells husband that she is taking kalai to Mumbai for a medical check up. Karthi tries to tell that we have come back here few days ahead and so you should rather try to relax. But she is adamant. Now again the same dual homing dialogues start. Karthi telling there is nothing to worry about their daughter but she says she should have gone and visited her (about selvi). Karthi says something is disturbing her.
Now he calls Uday and tells him tom book air tickets for Arasi/kalai. Uday again says "sir" which irritates Arasi.
After she leaves, Karthikeyan calls someone and tells him to keep a watch on GJ and tail him if he leaves chennai.

Tam's father tells Selvi that he wants to leave her house but he will be available for any support/emergency. Selvi unable to speak anything and he leaves.

Kaveri dials GJ's mobile and GJ utilises the opportunity very well. He says his family members are bad and are not allowing him to look after selvi. She asks him to come home and he says he will come the next day. When they are talking, selvi notices and tries to tell kaveri feebly tom cut the line but as kaveri continues, she tells yogi who picks up the phone and seeing it is GJ, abuses him and bangs the phone. Kaveri screams on the floor for her daddy.

Niranjan/wife come home and are shocked tom see selvi in such a condition. Niranjan gives her cash account details and says all arrangements are made for the inauguration of hotel.

In Arasi's house, all arrangements going ahead for Arasi/kalai to go to mumbai. They are about to leave in the vehicle when Kalai suddenly faints. Now Uday notices blood near her mouth and everyone is shocked.
