It's not sooo much of replacing "hot" actors with not sooo "hot" actors, I think that we are used to the Iqbal (shiv) and pallavi (gauri) pair, sooo we really miss this sight in the serial, however I think if it was Hiten that took the lead, I would probz be more interested than I am at the moment...I dunno why, but replacing Iqbal with Yash, killed the magic...it's not Yash's fault, I mean he's a really good actor, I really liked him in many other roles....but I dunno why I just couldn't accept him in Shiv's role...I just dunno why....I gave him a chance, I have been watching 4 a while, but it just doesen't interest me anymore...I would have preferred it if they killed Shiv's character....atleast Iqbal would have died as shiv (in the serial).....and they could have left scope, incase he wanted to come back, like ummmm "coming back from the dead" or something, that wouldn't of been too hard for Ekta, siince she happens to do it in every other serial of hers..!

When i first heard about the consumation scene...I was like yeah, I'll check it out, but I didn't until really late, but when I did, I wasn't really in to it, if u know wat I mean......I was soooo hoping that there would be a puff of smoke and then "Iqbal" would appear and say "I'm back" or something (even if they later made it out like gauri's dream or something)...lolzzz, I got bored after about 2mins, thus didn't watch..!! But I bet I would have rushed to watch it, if Iqbal was there..!!lolzzz....I was like praying within, that plzzzz no consumation scene, until Iqbal comes back...not that he is...lol

So I guess it's not the fact of getting used to sum1, I just think I preferred Iqbal in Shiv's role, and thought the role suited him perfectly....but what can u do...he decided to quit, so can't blame any1.

1 question...do u think if Iqbal came back, he could turn things around and recreate the magic??? I will say YES, heck I'll watch it even if it's boring...he's screen presence is enough 4 me..!!lol😉

Yash Tonk might be tryin his best.... but Iqbal khan is simply irreplaceable

I think the problem is the fact that we get used to seeing the first actor playing the character and we think he's best and cant imagine anyone else in his place.

If Yash had been in KAA from the start then we would have said he suited the role, but because he wasnt its hard to accept him.

As for kth, i think the new sujal is gr8, he looks good wiv aamna, but rajeev was one in a million...but at least it worked with one show, lets hpe it works wiv kaa, because the story of kaa is too good to be down rated for a replacement.

yuvika i understand ur point...but if yash was shiv frm the begining then im sure the character shiv kapoor wudnt hav been soo famous.....it was iqbal only who made the name cum alive...i mean he gave life to this character...now girls r crazy for shiv kapoor coz iqbal created a magic through his brilliant performance...n the character shiv was suppose to b dashing, arogant...yet charming ( 😕 )etc etc...but yash surely doesnt fit the bill....im sorry to say but he looks like shiv kapoor after a 20yrs. leap 😕 yash is definately a gud actor but hez just not suitable for the roll...

i agree with you...yash is looks too old to play shiv's character...shiv was a character with lots of attitude,charm,sexy looks,husky voice> a guy who makes girls crazy for him and iq had all these qualities....yash is totally opposite from that...a big difference between both of them...now shiv's character boring,dull,plain etc....also pallavi look so young infront of him....yash actually look better with ipshita than pallavi...its not too late for ekta to change this shiv beacuse we need someone young to play this role or else the trps will down and down

i dnt want the show to go off air, but i think she needs to bring another replacement!!!!
