Who needs ill-wishers if you have a mother like Shirin?
So wrapped up in her imagined slights and sorrows of being a second wife, she cant see beyond her humiliation as the "other woman" and in the process is pushing Nikhat towards a life of humiliation?
Which mother stands by quietly and is still insistent on her daughter marrying a man who is spineless? Or perhaps that is only what she understand cos Rashid is spineless!
Chalo that lack of vision I understand but to sit quietly while Haseena constantly humiliates her daughter and knowing fully well that Haseena will forever taunt Nikhat? What kind of mother is willing to condemn her daughter to a living hell, just to get her married and off her hands?
