I have to say that I love this new Bollywood.
Out are the old worn out fundas & thinking.
In are the new trends & thinking along with the next-generation.
Love how SRK is not afraid to walk beside a towering Deepika, wouldn't have been possible a decade before...
Actresses proudly flaunting their husbands or boyfriends which was a no-no and girls used to hide their relationships:
Actresses enjoying& acknowledging their friendships with male friends -
and this young brigade believes in work hard but party harder:

dp's love for silhouette heels is well known
saif requested her not to wear them in one of their song sequences in race 2, so that he will look taller

i don't like new bollywood
i miss the old bollywood where actors used to say what they feel and coming to above relationships except for saif and kareena others didn't come out open about their relationship ...
ash-abhi announced after engagement
geneliya-ritesh announced wedding directly
same with vidya and siddarth ...so i don't know what u are talking about lol
and coming to srk and deepika ...it wont be too nice if srk wears heals ...and BTW he always jokes about his height problem so i don't know whats new in that
and coming to the friendships ...only time will tell...
khans are very think once upon a time and used to hangout a lot lol

I agree. These younger generation stars are more open and fun loving. I love the camaraderie they share. I also like how more stars are open about their love lives these days. It's a refreshing change.

Coming generations should learn from the recent Kat-Ranbir fiasco to never hide their relationship, its definitely going to comeback and bite your A$$..
People have come a long way to play hide and seek about their relationship status ... so no harm in being open about your relationship and let your work speak.

I absolutely agree with your post. I really love how liberated BW has gotten, especially in terms of actresses and their personal lives, and I hope it changes even more for the better

Gone are the days when there were different rules for actors and actresses..
Now girls are independent and love their lives.
These guys have this attitude - "Judge us for our work not for our personal lives"👏
It is good to see that they are no longer doing things behind a closed door to put a fake front.
It wasn't like these things were not happening in those times.
I was watching this program "An Affair to Remember" - they showed how Dilip Kumar had his first big love story with Kamini Kausal and she was a married woman. After years of affiars she decided to walk away form her affair and Dilip Kumar was heart broken.

the fact that Deepika-Ranveer is on this list is hilarious.

When has Deepika acknowledged her relationship with Ranveer? NEVER. In fact she denies it.

and Ranveer got pissed when asked about Deepika😆

I didn't know about this..searched google and found several links..

3.Dilip Kumar's first love was Kamini Kaushal:

Much before his marriage with Saira Bano, Dilip lost his heart for the first time in his life to the renowned actress Kamini Kaushal.

Their romance started on the set of 'Shaheed'(1948) and soon they were planning to get married but Kamini's brother who was in the army played spoilsport.

Kamini's brother threatened Dilip Kumar saying he should break off all his connections with Kamini .

For Kamini also, it was not possible to rise against her family as she was already married to her late sister's husband, Mr.Sood, only for the sake of looking after the child which she left behind her. (so many films were made on this theme..HAHK,Gumraah,Murder etc)
