Aditya Dhar’s second directorial after Uri has naturally drawn comparisons to his 2019 blockbuster. As per Jio Studios, the film earned Rs 218 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 261.5 crore in week two, Rs 189.3 crore in week three, and Rs 115.70 crore in week four. Week five added Rs 56.35 crore, while the sixth Monday alone brought in Rs 2.70 crore.

The film stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan alongside Ranveer Singh, who plays a fictional character inspired by real-life bravery. With Dhurandhar 2 already dated and buzz building around surprise appearances, many believe the sequel could aim even higher at the box office.
