Popular TV stars have been approached to participate in the upcoming season of a dance reality show

Reality shows are a good medium for actors on the small screen to showcase their talents and usually stars from the host channel are given first preference to appear on them. With the new season of Nach Baliye (season 6) already on its way, the makers of the show have approached many popular faces from the channel, including Jennifer Winget, Nakuul Mehta, Sanaya Irani and Kanchi Kaul.

A source says, "This season, the channel has got many popular faces on their TV shows and perhaps wants to cash in on their fame. That's why before approaching other star couples, they are asking these people. It will be interesting for audiences to see Jennifer with her husband Karan Singh Grover, Sanaya with her boyfriend Mohit Sehgal, Nakuul with his wife Janki Mehta and Kanchi Kaul with her husband Shabbir Ahluwalia. But Kanchi-Shabbir apparently have turned down the offer. On the other hand, Jennifer and Nakuul are considering it. Other than the biggest attraction — the fat pay cheque — the actors are also looking at working out their dates for the show, which is expected to launch in a few months." Shabbir hosted the first two seasons in the past.

When we contacted Mohit about this, he says, "We have been approached and talks are going on. The show is a good platform. We are still discussing a lot of things. When it will be finalised, I will let you know. Sanaya is busy with her show, so she has to figure out if she will able to manage that and this one."
