Q: You have always been associated with big banners. Swamy seems to be a low-budget film!
For me, more than the banner, it's the film that I am working on that counts. Any film with a good story will work. The budget or a banner doesn't decide the fate of a film.

Q: Tell us something about your character in Swamy?
I am playing a Maharashtrian woman who is a family-oriented person.

Q: Swamy is choreographer Ganesh Achraya's debut film as a director. Your views on him.
Ganesh has got a lot of experience in this industry. When he shoots a song, there's a touch of comedy, action, emotions et al attached to it. It was his story and I think he is a director who directs from his heart.

Q: How was it working with Manoj Bajpai for the first time?
He's a tremendous actor and a very good human being. It was a great experience working with him. When Ganesh told me that he has signed Manoj for the role of Swami, I was very happy. No other person would have justified Swami's character other than Manoj.

Q: What according to you is the USP of this film?
First of all, this is not a typical multi-starrer film. The story is very much relatable. The music is very appealing. You will not see any melodrama or violence happening in the film. Overall, it's a very beautiful and simple film,. I had tears in my eyes when Ganesh narrated me the story for the first time.
