In their two decade plus career, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla have worked in number of projects together and delivered number of hits at the box office. But their last success together was David Dhawan's DEEWANA MASTANA which released way back in 1997.
Now the two would be seen with each other again, this time as a husband and wife, in Nikhil Advani's SALAAM E ISHQ which arrives 10 years after DEEWANA MASTANA. Appearing to be a sure shot blockbuster, the film is a romantic musical and boasts of A-list cast, crew and presentation.
Between DEEWANA MASTANA and SALAAM E ISHQ, the two also had JHOOT BOLE KAUWA KATE [1998] and KAROBAAR [2000] to their credit. To their misfortune, both the films were failures at the box office. While Anil Kapoor moved on in his career, Juhi Chawla started opting for supporting roles.
Now with SALAAM E ISHQ, one strongly believes that the two would weave the magic of 80s and the 90s once again and enthrall the audience with mature performances.
As a London based middle aged couple, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla play Vinay and Seema respectively. Together they are a happy family for ages. A family that has all luxuries of life including two beautiful daughters. While Vinay thought that he had all what he wanted, especially with his flourishing PR job, there was something missing in his life! But what was that?
He realizes that when he comes across Anjali [Anjana Sukhani] who is a modern London based girl with an unmatchable confidence and determination. The two fall for each other. What happens next? Come find it out on January 25th when the film releases all over!
