Chapter 18
Early in the morning Jai as he slowly opened his eyes and tired to stretch himself he felt that he could not move as Bani's head was holding on to him like he was her guarding angel. Smilingly he tried to wake her up with a kiss but Bani just moaned and rolled to the side and said
Bani: Is it morning already? And her muscles felt sore from last nights love making but it filled her heart with happiness too.
Jai: sweet heart this is a sight I would love to wake up every morning. And started kissing her again
Bani: Jai not again. But Jai knew it was a half hearted protest and continued with his exploration with his mouth suddenly he noticed the marks around her neck did I hurt you last night. Bani didn't understand what he was referring too and strained to look when she noticed the love bites Jai had left on her skin. Her first thought had been how to hide the marks and she tried to move out of bed. But Jai just pushed her back down with strong hands there by massaging shoulders and spine, swiftly bringing her back to a sensual awareness of her sated body. Her arms which had been hanging limply down lifted to hold Jai's head and her fingers were entangled in his thick hair. She just lay there in an odd mixture of relaxation and regathering her tension. She could feel his hands recreating the magic and exploring every inch of her. She commented to Jai for a man of his age he had an uncontrollable passion and a reckless way of showing it.
Jai: I have a very young beautiful loving wife and I enjoy having my wicked ways with her. Can't blame me for that
Bani was giving her warm, soft glowing smile and jai knew that smile was only for him one hand twisted in her hair, holding her mouth captive he savored her like a wonderful meal and commented hew wouldn't mind having her as his first course for every meal.
Bani: You are just impossible. But I love you
Jai looked into those beautiful eyes dilated with desire and love for him and felt did she realize how seductive she looked, with her glorious hair spread out and her flushed face, her lips wet and shining he felt was made for kissing. Was she even aware of the power she held over him. Jai now just wanted to just feel her that restricting delicious exciting feeling of being one and whole.
Later they collapsed on the bed together lying there ages without saying a word their ragged breathing taking along time to calm. Slowly Jai noticed that Bani had again gone of to sleep.
He took the shower and while dressing rang for Tony to bring the morning breakfast to the room.
He didn't want to disturb her but couldn't leave without saying Good Bye
Jai going and kissing Bani on the fore head wake up sleepy head, I may have gone overboard but I don't accost woman in their sleep.
Bani: What's the time? God it's going to be nine? Why hadn't you woken me up? By now the sheet was down to her waist
Jai: do you have any idea seeing you like this way in the morning all rumpled up and sexy all I can think of is getting back into bed.
At that moment Bani became aware of her appearance and tried to cover herself up with the sheets and leaned forward to take the shirt Jai had discarded last night before getting into bed.
Jai: I think it's a little too late for modesty now don't you think so considering the fact that I know every inch of it. Now Bani was blushing to the roots some how she managed to wear the shirt and get out of bed.
Jai: My shirt suits you well and she comes forward to kiss him but when he hears a knock. I don't mind seeing you in anything but I object to the fact that my butler sees you this way in the morning. Go freshen up I will pour the coffee for you.
Later Bani came back while Jai was having his coffee and toast going through the business page of the morning paper she came and sat beside Jai.
Jai: Here's the coffee.
Bani: Sipping her coffee this feels good.
Jai: I wanted to ask you something though I know its late Are you on pills.
Bani just kept looking blankly at him what he was referring to.
Jai: Bani are you using any contraceptive pills because last night and today morning I didn't use any protection.
That's when it hit her why Jai was questioning her.
Bani: No I never had the need for it. Why is it a problem Didn't he want kids is that what this is all about.
Jai: Don't go there I just want to be sure that you feel the same way as I do. I would love to have kids with you. Infect I'm planning on an entire football team.
Bani: What? Mr. Wail I never knew you would resort to cavemen tactics.
Jai: Are we back to Mr. Walia again I thought we had overcome that.
Bani: I find it more comfortable with other people around but when it's just the both of us I wouldn't mind.
Jai: Fine and the whole house are waiting for you down stairs.
Bani: Why what happened.
Jai: God do you know the amount of calls I have been answering on your behalf through the intercom.
Ana wants to know which pictures have to be sending for the exhibition. Sahil wants you to come see the presentation he is giving today in the afternoon, Ranveer wants to know when you are free to discuss the new project and see the client, Adi and Jigyasa has planned some party and they want ideas form you the list is on. I was just wondering how this house ran before I got married to you.
Bani: Well it's good to know that my husband is giving credit to me for running his house so beautifully finally.
Jai: I don't mind you running the house but to me it looks like you take up everyone's problems and you will not have time for me.
Bani: Now please Jai not that again.
Jai: Why after all we are just married we should have some time alone and if I have my way I am going to take you on along vacation were there would be no one just us.
Bani: Yes so you could work on that foot ball team. Jai please I love doing these things and you should be happy that you have such a happy family to care for you.
Jai: I'm not going to argue with you regarding my family members and spoil my mood. Just then a call comes for Jai and he answers it
Bani feels that though Jai is very open and comfortable with her he could never share his feelings and emotions freely and never explained about his relationship with his family. It felt as though he kept himself distant from others why is it so will their relationship also with time becomes something like that.
Jai: Hey were you. Come on like a good girl take a warm shower and I expect you in the office for the meeting then we can have an early dinner because I want to work upon that football team of ours.
Bani felt that if Jai didn't move now he wouldn't reach the office today and she a lot to finish before she went to office in the afternoon. So she just kissed him goodbye and went to take her shower.
Later over lunch with Anu.
Anu: Mami are not you feeling warm with that scarf tied around your neck. Bani had tied that scarf to hide the marks Jai had left as the foundation cream still left a red patch and people would notice it.
Bani: No its fine.
Anu: Mami we are not at any business place just a restaurant and when you go for the meeting you can appear formally dressed.
Bani: She sips on to the lemonade and she was sweating also now so she loosened the scarf knot but had not fully removed it. When the scarf shifted Anu found the real reason for bani wearing the scarf.
Anu immediately: now I get it
BAni was having her desert: Now you get what.
Anu: Mami the reason for the scarf.
Bani the touches her scarf and notices that it has slid off from one side. She didn't know what to say to Anu.
Anu: Mami don't worry I will not be telling to any one so I guess what the tabloids write about him must be true.
Bani: Now blushing to the roots. Anu he is your mamaji
Anu: so what his wife is my best friend and mentor I can tell her anything.
Bani: You are just like your mamaji in many ways.
Anu: God hope not. I'm not Khadoos like him.
Bani: Hey watch it you are talking about my husband.
Anu: I never knew he needed any protection but I must say he is different with you mami. For him the rest of us don't exist except with dad and massi he interacts in the house. But mami he always keeps looking at you. When both of you are in a room it looks like your eyes do all the talking for you both I guess that is what is called love.
Bani: I don't know about all that but I love him and I would be by his side till eternity.
They finish their lunch and now since Bani had learnt driving she drove the car Jai had gifted though she was hesitant at first now she enjoyed driving. The meeting was with a new fashion house Jai had financed. It was something new for the Walia group and Jai wanted Bani to handle that. He just couldn't tolerate the artistic temperaments of people the designers, the models and stylists totally he felt out of place. He had started it as favor for his friend Varun Tejwani but finally got dragged into it.
Currently they were planning on a calendar launch for the fashion house along with some seasonal catalogues. The designs were getting finalized though the female models were finalized they had problems with getting a male model to captivate the attention for the means line. They wanted someone with a good sex appeal but not the chocolate boyish look they were actually looking for the middle aged look but stylish. Lot of ideas came forward but none proved satisfactory to Bani, Jai or Varun. Finally they decided to start with the female line and may be the men's line currently they could focus on the teenage crowd.
Everyone had walked out of the conference room only Jai, Bani and Varun remained. I have a suggestion to make and the way I feel we project it would be excellent. Varun was all ears to Bani's plan as he had found out in few days that Bani was like Jai in many ways in business she had a way with getting through to people. But Jai somehow felt this is going to be a disaster seeing the mischievous smile on her face.
Bani: We require someone middle aged, with good sex appeal, rakish kind of look, with a sense of secrecy, dominating character and who stand apart in the crowd right. Why go any where when the best example is there in this room itself and turns to Jai.
At first Varun didn't understand to whom she was referring then it struck to him she was referring to? Mr.Walia.
Varun: Bani you are an absolute genius.
Jai was still shocked to respond. He didn't know whether to wring Bani's neck or Blowup Varun's face for encouraging Bani to this stupidity.
