Jai came through the car park and saw that she was entering through the private entrance to the house. He told the driver to park the car and hurried up and caught her at the door way
Jai:Why did you leave the party in such a hurry and what was the need to take a cab and come. I said we could leave in a short while what's the hurry I had to make some stupid excuse to get out of there
Bani had enough of insults for one night and she just wanted to go to bed and cry her heart out.
Bani: Mr. Walia please don't wake up everyone as it is past midnight. More over I said you could stay on for the party.
Jai: Stop acting Childish. God do you realize how it would look we both come to the party together and you just leaving like what s your worry actually Bani it's high time you came out right with that.
Bani: My worry I think you are my biggest problem and if you would just excuse me I too don't like to make spectacle of myself in public so sorry if I offended you to night but you know i am not much of a party goer. If wanted some one like that then you should have stuck to the woman whom you are normally acquainted with.
Jai: If this is again about the other woman how many times I must make it clear to you that no one will enter my life again.
Bani: Is that so then why is it more than half the people in the party thought that I would not make a good wife and they felt sorry for you being tied down to me and leaves for the room. Her last remark had Jai transfixed to the spot. What was she saying was the confident Bani the one who were fighter and ready to protect what she considered to be her own? He felt it was long past since he cleared something's about this marriage and he was going to do it to night come what may. When he entered the room after a drink she was stepping out of the bathroom in her night gown
Jai: Bani I think it is long time since we had a decent conversation. There was time when you could say anything to me and I could count on you by my side come what may and you were never suspicious of my section I miss that
Bani also felt its time she spoke her mind and that to hell with consequences She may be in love with him but she couldn't play the second fiddle in his life and didn't want to be miserable trying to find out every night is he happy with her or just trying to act up as he had just married to her
Bani: well you only have to blame yourself for that then. Because from the first time we got engaged you always kept me in a loop and in fact you enjoyed keeping me confused.
Jai: I am sorry for that it is just that I knew if I kept your mind occupied then you will not think of plans to escape from me.
Bani: well I must say your technique really worked. But after we got married you seemed to turn cold and distant one minute then when I feel iam doing the right thing you jump at me.
Jai: I am sorry for that late afternoon stunt concerning Anu's friends. It's just that I don't like other men ogling at you.
Bani: My God they are Anu's Friends for God sake.
Jai: They might be her friends but have you noticed they are of your age.
Bani: Now don't tell me Mr. Walia who has his way with every woman is not sure about himself in front of his wife because of her age.
Jai: Not because of her age but yes I'm not sure about what you feel anymore bani goes close to her and looks into the eyes there was a time Bani when I could clearly read those eyes and feel that you cared for me and enjoyed my company but now at times I find emptiness in them and then you have time for everyone in the house except for me.
Bani: Are you complaining about the fact I don't spend time with you.
Jai: Not complaining. There were days when we would spend almost 12 to 14 hours in the office and still go out for dinner. I miss that Bani.
Bani: Well I miss that Mr. Walia too. So now you have realized that the marriage was wrong move so it is better to call it quits before we make each others lives miserable.
Jai: Who ever said that marriage was a wrong move?
Bani: Well your attitude towards me proves that.
Jai: My attitude what about yours Bani one minute you are caring the other minute you are cold and here I am trying to show you how to have good time and then you come running out of the party by just hearing some gossip that goes around.
Bani: I have an attitude problem Mr. Walia I helped you out when you're so called friend or fianc whatever felt. At least she had the sense to realize in time that her career was more important than you. How do you return my favor my forcing me to marry you and when I just start accepting things how my life would be going forward? You start deciding how things should go in this marriage
Jai: I said I was willing to meet you half way but what do you expect me to change myself completely for you.
Bani: No Mr. Walia I don't want you to change can I expect the same from you. Just tell me what do you see when you look at me.
Jai: when did you start feeling so insecure about yourself Bani? What did you hear in today's party that has upset you so much?
Bani realized they were deviating from the point. It's not what others think that matters Mr. Walia it's what you think about me that matters only that.
Jai: You should know that by now. Goes close to her and tries hugging her
Bani: No this time I really want to know am I just one of those causal women whom you date for a while and then forget. If so then Bani couldn't complete her sentence
Jai heard enough for one night he just scooped her in his arms as if she weighed no more than a feather. Bani was taken by surprise but she didn't like his high handed behavior.
Bani: Mr. Walia if you think you are going to get away with this you have another thing coming.
He places her very carefully in the middle of the bed. And pins her down says.
Jai: Stop fighting me and listen to me carefully. Bani you are not some other woman you are my wife and I am really happy that you accepted my marriage proposal. As for giving you time and consideration from now on that is going to change because I want to make one thing clear to Bani Nothing in my life is more important to me than you. You come first so you can throw away all your insecurities about other women in my life as they don't stand a chance against you as you have me bewitched form the first time I saw you.
So Bani say what ready to start on a clean slate as husband and wife.
Bani was now clearly shocked was Jai really saying that he had feelings for her and that he was waiting along for her to accept it.
Bani: Is this again one of your tactics to get me. Because Mr. Walia I don't like to be left high and dry when it pleases you.
Jai: No you are my wife and I think it is high time I showed you that.
Bani: How do you propose to show me that? Jai: Well that is for you to find out what's the fun if I told you everything.
Bani: Stop it Jai and I'm serious
Jai: me too so enough of this talking and goes to kiss her hard but when she went immobile then soft and sweet against him he gentled. Her hands curled against his chest and she liked being kissed by him. He caught her face and looked into her eyes and said read my eyes Bani and you should know that I would never leave your side. He kissed both her eyes and slowly he started to trail kisses down wards. Her heartbeat pounded against his chest while her eyes remained closed her lips parted and he kissed her again and it was deeper and hotter. She was aware of so many things his strong fingers playing with her hair, the heat of his breath and the taste of him. She knew that his hands were roving over her but didn't understand till her robe fell open. It was hard to think with Jai holding he so close touching her in remarkable ways he smelled of her favorite perfume Eternity by CK. He was so warm and now his finger tips slipped beneath the hem of her thin night slip and started tracing higher and higher while she held her breath wanting more and everything. Bani didn't want him to stop ever touching her and her belly had filled with butterflies and a curling undulating sensation of pleasure. Jai felt But suddenly she felt him retreat.
Bani: What's the matter? Had she read him wrong again?
Jai: I have to stop now. When you come to me I want it with a clear head not because you were run over by emotions. I know for a fact come morning and you will regret it.
Bani: No don't leave me may be I need time to get used to your ways but I do love you with all my heart and I have never felt this way about anyone. There she had spoken out her feelings to him and bared her soul to him but she wasn't ready for the response he gave.
Jai was taken aback she was in love with him god when did love enter their relationship. He knew she cared and made him happy but love did he also feel the same way.
Jai: Bani are you sure because once you become mine then there is no looking back.
Bani: I have done all the looking back I'm just happy to be with you Mr. Walia.
Jai was so happy: today you have made me the luckiest man alive and cut the Mr. Walia out at least in bed .
Bani: Yes Jai
Jai: Say that again I love to hear my name from you.
Bani: Jai I love you.
Jai just moved out of the bed so that he could remove his shirt. His upper body was gorgeous. Dark hair covered his chest. Sleek prominent muscles in his shoulders totally.
He looked like some Greek god and this was her husband. Jai felt that Bani was going shy all over again so he said come over here we can't have your mind wandering to other things than me.
His mouth crushed hers; heat burned in bands across the tops of her check bones. He inched her night slip off her shoulders and moved it down to the ankle. A cool draft of night air whispered ove her skin except were his hands warmed her. She tried to shift back but his hands clasped at the waist fingers dipping into her spine again his mouth crushed hers and in his eyes she saw the passion for her and with the tip of his tongue he was creating magic. While Jai's hands stroking her spine, into the dip of her lower back. Heat coursed through her veins with dizzying speed, her heart raced too fast while her body quivered under him. Seeing Bani this way made Jai hard powerful, throbbing with energy and life which could make him loose his control but he wanted her to hold on to this as a beautiful experience so he was going to take his time and make sweet passionate love. When he kept looking into that mesmerizing eyes Bani questioned
You got me where you want me so now what are you waiting for. Pinning her in a searing heavy lidded gaze he shucked out of his clothes and stalked her across the bed with the unhurried grace of a lion moving in for a easy kill. He pushed her back against the pillow and went to reacquaint himself with every inch of her body first with his finger tips then his mouth. He kissed her eyes, her throat, her elbows her feet each separate vertebra in her spine And when every inch of her skin had received its benediction and was humming with pleasure he made her his and knew that he could never get enough of her.
As the tremors faded to sweet echo he sank down beside her and went to take her in his arms while together her heart racing wildly Jai kissed her again long and hard and said you are mine remember that always. His big arms wrapped around her he buried his head in her hair muttering things she couldn't figure out.
While Bani Clasping on to Jai's shoulders, burying her face in his broad chest she felt there was no one but them, no place but now. Nothing but this and slept in his arms
Finally Jai was where he belonged and happy to be there. Discovering each other had been a beautiful knowledge and a shimmering experience. It was more than what they had dreamed for and they could not ask for more. Bani felt as though Jai had sapped every ounce of energy out of her but finally when he called out to her as his beloved she knew that he had lost his battle of supremacy to her.
