Homi Adajania still haunted by swimming accident
'Cocktail' filmmaker Homi Adajania is currently busy scripting his next with Deepika Padukoneand Arjun Kapoor.
But the filmmaker finds Mumbai too crowded. Recalling a recent holiday, he says, "Can you imagine, a couple of weeks ago I was diving with thousands of hammerheads and then some retarded-looking marine iguanas in thenGalapagos Islands! Life was a dream, but then our boat hit rocks in the dead of the night and we had to evacuate in a life raft as she started filling up with water. I was sleeping in the hull and it felt like a giant enema as huge rocks scraped right under my backside. Somehow the idea of floating in pitch darkness with thousands of sharks around wasn't as pleasurable as diving with them, as they seem to know when you are prey and when you are just being a pain! For a brief moment, I thought we could have been in the next episode of I Shouldn't Be Alive."
Homi also posted pictures and a first hand account of his mis-adventure on his social networking site, where he added, "After finally reaching terra firma, at the airport I was summoned in Spanish on loud speakers to report to the 'Narcotics' bay. As I waited with some wailing woman who had been busted, I couldn't help but imagine myself to switch from the previous show to Banged Up Abroad.Somehow, this episode was a touch more daunting than the previous one until I was told it was just a random check."
He summed up, "Either way, I'm finally back and decided to give an accurate preview because with my penchant for adding colour, by the time, I meet anyone, the real story could well become unrecognisable!
