today i just found out that ashwariya isnt bengali! i jsut cant believe it! my mums indian colleagues told her she was bengali and i thought she was too! but wow! she isnt! rite? i dont know...is she? im really confusde now!!😕

She is of the Bunt caste from Mangalore, Karnataka.

Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty belong to the same caste - I think.

ya she is not bengali she is tamil I think.actually bengali surname is Ray or Roy but not rai,but ppl think rai also bengali which is not.I know this coz I am bengali.😛

nope .. Rai isn't a bengali surname .. but the pronunciation is the same for Ray. So manyy mistake her for a bengali esp. after she did Devdas. But she's a south indian.

And guess what? I am also a Bengali 😆
