Hussain, Tina's Goan rhapsody

Post their much-deserved victory on Nach Baliye 2, Hussain and Tina barely got time to take a break. Now, the couple has planned a getaway to Goa, but not without their choreographers Harshal and Vitthal.

Excited about the prospects of taking a much-needed vacation, Tina says, "It won't be long, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm happy that Harshal and Vitthal are joining us. They deserve some time off, too."

Even though the competition is long over, Tina hasn't quit dancing. Hussain and she have been busy performing at corporate events, stage shows and product launches. However, unlike Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar, Tina is dead against performing at weddings and private functions. "I am not comfortable with the idea of dancing at someone's wedding. It's just not something I can do," says Tina.

Popular demand

With most of the stage shows being in Kolkata and Bangalore, Tina enjoys getting different reactions from the audience. "Our act is quite different from what we did on the show. However, the rope dance we did is very much in demand, so people keep asking for it. I find it really amusing when fans come up to me for pictures and autographs. It's totally new for me and it's something I still have to come to terms with."

The couple will leave for Goa on January 24 and stay there for four days. "We owe our success to Harshal and Vitthal, so asking them to come along with us will be good fun. I want to make sure that they too get maximum exposure and their work is appreciated."

In spite of this small break, Tina says Hussain still has to take her out for a proper vacation. "I won't let him off so easily. Maybe in the coming months, we will go on a nice extended holiday."
