The problem is this show has been giving more focus to family drama from the very beginning...i remember we used to shout on forum for not giving much screenspace to Anamika then as she was the only supermnatural creature in this show...š nothing chnaged yet the show is still full of family drama and now Anamika is there as an ordinary human vamp the supernatural element had completely vanished! š²
I agree, Romaila! You've raised important points!
Many of us were glued to the mysterious elements that Jeet & Anamika' meetings held. And yes, 'blood sucking' was abhorring. May be, some other device/method could have been introduced to show Anamika absorbing Jeet's energy for her survival. But, 'blood sucking' could have been avoided & instead some other thing could have been used to add to the supernatural aspect.
As far as the excessive screen-space to the family drama is concerned, I now feel (seeing the quality of the current script-writing) that probably the CVs had only a few ideas in mind for the supernatural part and hence used it very sparingly and in a stingy manner. And hence, more running time was spent on the Salujas and there was lesser screen-space for the the spooky ingredients.
I totally agree with you that the show was ruined disastrously when Anamika was transformed into an ordinary human vamp in a love triangle with very few supernatural powers. At that time, I feel, the 'supernatural chapter' was closed in favour of family drama and unimpressive black magic!
I really feel the CVs read this 'do-it-yourself' guide before going for the revamp! :-)
