ReCap: Yash and Aarti have their last moments before leaving for London. Prashant and Aarti go to London
Prashant and Aarti went through all the system in the airport. They received their luggage and dragged them outside. They both breathed in the fresh London air. Prashant started to search for his Aunty Jenny, he wanted Aarti to feel as comfortable as possible. Aarti turned around to Prashant
Aarti: isn't London nice? Its kinda sunny here! I heard it rains a lot here so I packed lots of warm clothes
Prashant: well good because you never know the weather here in London.. London doesn't stay sunny for long trust me!.
Aarti: shut up yar! (she punches his arm) don't say that. I have never been here! I have just heard lots about it! You go all the time!
Prashant: well not all the time! That last time that I went to London was probably 2 years ago, I think. But I only go to meet my Aunty Jenny. My Aunty takes me out a lot when I come visit so I can remember some of the road trips I have been on! I go there every time!
Aarti: ok then! I want to meet your Aunty Jenny! She seems nice and I can see she loves you a lot! You better come with me though! Don't leave me!
Prashant : (( I will never leave you. Now your mine))
Prashant: you don't trust me? I am not leaving you here in this country!
Aarti: I am so tired right now! I haven't flew on a plane for 8 hours before! Its only like 11 in the morning here as well!. We have to get used to the time right? Its going to be really difficult!
Prashant: actually, it really isnt hard at all! this first couple of days you might get really tired due to the time difference but you get into the routine quite quick. I am used to the time difference because the atmosphere is not the same as when your in India!
Aarti: can you shush with the speech and can we go! Haven't you realized that Jenny Aunty has been waiting for ages!
Prashant: ((when I go and look for her she wasn't there and when I start to talk to Aarti she has to come an appear! How great!))
Aarti: you go take the luggage, can I please talk to Yash and Di? I have a sim for here?
Prashant: go on then. Don't be long though!
Aarti: I wont be! Aman must be waiting too!
Prashant: Aman? Who Aman?
Aarti: my new flat mate!
Prashant: oh ok! Aunty Jenny will know the place so just tell her. We thought you would be living with us.
Aarti: I am really sorry Prashant.. thanks for the thought but I fell that I need my own space here. of course you can meet me anytime you like!
Prashant: its ok Aarti, go have your call!
Aarti went aside as Prashant took his and Aarti's luggage into the back of the car. Prashant got in the car and Aunty Jenny and Prashant waited for Aarti in the car. She had spoken to Yash and her sister on the phone for only less then 5 minutes. After the conversation with the two, she got in the car and they drove off to the flat.
Aunty Jenny: we are here! This is the right place na?
Aarti: yes Aunty! Thankyou! See you Prashant!
Prashant: you want a hand?
Aarti: yes please Prashant
Prashant got out the suitcase from the boot of the car and handed it over to Aarti. They hugged and both went their ways
Aunty Jenny: Prashant, is this your girl? The one you were talking about
Prashant: shes not mine yet! But she will be!
Aunty Jenny: shes perfect for you!
Prashant: hmm I know!
-- IN THE FLAT --
Aarti: Hello? Anyone here?
Aman: Hey! Its Aman! Your Aarti? Am I right?
Aarti: Hi Aman! And Yes I am Aarti!
Aman: so I guess we are eating, working and cooking here?
Aarti: yep!
Aman: you know! I am so excited! Us two living together! Hey your English is pretty good! I lived in India but I moved when I was 10 here!
Aarti: thankyou! I did English medium! And Aman, I want to get this clear, we can only be friends ok? I have a boyfriend in India whom I got engaged to a couple of days ago. I already miss him so please don't try to get close to me. I just want to remain friends!
Aman: don't worry! I want us to be friends too! I loved a girl.. but she moved back to India.. she was called Arpita..
Aarti: I have a friend called Arpita, Arpita Khanna
Aman: that's her name!!
Aarti: Arpita told me about a guy here in London.. she never told me your name though.. She moved here as the new girl a couple of years ago..
Aman: I hope she wants me back!
Aarti: Aman.. I think shes moved on..
Aman: really? ..
Aarti: I think so! But I will talk to her and make her explain that you haven't moved on..
Aman: thanks Aarti! Take some rest! You have just come now!
Aarti: thank you ! please show me my room and where should put my things?
Aman: down the right.. he smiled
Aarti: thank you once again
Aman: my pleasure
( I know this is fast but here comes the leap! I didn't want to add Prashant/Aarti.. there might be more Aman and Aarti ;) and a jealous person )
ONE YEAR LATER (AARTI'S BIRTHDAY)
Aman: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARTI DUBEY!!
Aarti: Aww.. ThankYou Aman for bringing this cute little cupcake!!
Aman: your always welcome hey! Let's go out tonight hmm? there is no work pending so why not? Hmm? And it is your birthday! Me, you and Prashant for lunch?
Aarti: sorry Aman but.. I don't feel like going anywhere and besides we go out a lot? Right? I am really missing Yash today! He hasn't even called me yet and its 2pm! You might have moved on from Arpita but Yash is still my life!
Aman: sorry Aarti! I didn't mean in that way, going out might help forget how much your missing him?
Aarti: I have things to do..
Prashant barged in the room with drinks in a bag with a big fat grin on his face
Prashant: well well.. who is the birthday chick!
Aarti: Prashant seriously..i am not in the mood today
Prashant: whos being moody hmm? Come on Aarti please come out for lunch? Or we can enjoy here?
Aarti: I have work to do
Prashant: well anyway you be moody and happy birthday!
He went up to Aarti and gave her a hug from behind the chair.. Aarti did not feel comfortable with Prashant's action.. She grabbed his arms and flung them back and she rose with anger
Aarti: you guys cant just force me you know!! Especially you prashant! Aman understood. But you just have to go on and on! I have noticed this! Your trying to get close to me! But I am sorry Yash is mine! And actually I was going to go out as I felt bad but not anymore! I am waiting for his call and that's it!
Aman: she's not lying because I have witnessed it.. I have seen that you are trying to get her.
OTHER END IN INDIA (MORNING)
Yash: I am going Arpita.. no one can stop me!
Arpita: Yash are you positive? What if Aarti has moved on?
Yash: Arpita,, MY Aarti wouldn't have moved on! She loves me! I trust her and I know she hasn't moved on! You might have moved on from Prashant! Just maybe! But its my decision
Arpita: ok whatever you say.. you live there for a year
Yash: I already spent a year without her and I cant wait another year so I am going. It will be a great birthday present and now if I don't leave then I will regret it
Arpita: fine then! But I will come too! I am booking my flights and coming as soon as possible and seeing Prashant! You think I have moved on? Well I haven't!
Yash: fine then' I am going.. take care?
-- BACK IN LONDON --
Aman: we cant go now.. I just got a call from Miss Kirti and a text from Mr Brown.. they want us to pick up some work
Aarti: oh jeez.. how much work now!.. I have enough on my plate already!
Aman: they also want to talk to us aswell.. even better! Lets go.. Prashant you staying or going?
Prashant: I am staying.. unless you want me to take you there?
Aarti: er aha NO Aman can take us! Besides you don't have to be all goody goody I know your intentions!
Aman and Aarti went to their workplace which was about 40 minute's drive. (THIS IS FOR A REASON). They picked up the work that they needed to accomplish and talked for 10 minutes about the project. The got back in the car annoyed about their new project that had to be completed in a month and drove back to their flat.. Aarti drifting away in the car .. dozed off.
Prashant waited for Aarti and Aman to come back' He was deciding how to get Aarti still even though she knew and Aman knew his intentions.. he had to get Aarti back friends before he decided to do anything.. He sat down with a pint glass and started to watch the tv. He heard a buzz coming from the door.. He told the person to come up. He turned off the TV and quickly tidied the place up.
(( knock knock ))
Prashant: hang on! I will be there in a minute!
Prashant opened the door stunned to find Yash standing infront of the door with a suitcase in his hand! He also looked behind to see Aman walking up the stairs!
PreCap: Aman sees Arpita after years of separation. Prashant remembers Arpita's words at the airport and moves on from Aarti! (I hope that's a relief for you!)
