Ok although I am a swaron fan and a kriyansh fan too, this abrupt exit of Vrinda from D3 has seriously messed my brain up a little and confused me so badly that I decided to vent here, the D3 forum; the appropriate place. Note to TR fans I am equally surprised and also kind of mad as well because this action has made D3 into a huge joke from the side of the PH.
Ok so I went and listened to Palkis IV and was shocked because she gave excuses like 'we could not make the character grow, she was not a dancer so eventually she would have no future etc'
Me: UHM WHAT????
Palki was the one who with 100% conciousness brought a non-dancer into the show to give it a different flavour and wasn't Palki the one who earlier said Dil, Dosti, Dance are equal. Yes the show revolves around dance and that is why it is was so hard to balance taani into the story, understandable. But this is really weird. All of a sudden you said she didn't have a future. Well she was rey's girlfriend and It would be interesting to see rey balancing DANCE and DIL. And she could have been part of the dance team somehow. Like their manager (business career). their costume designer (fashion career), their makeup artist (cosmetology career) etc. And this is what I thought of off the top of my head in 2 seconds and these people couldn't find a career for her in 2 years??
Truthfully there were times when I hated taani because well she was kriya's replacement. But I got over it, I mean rey moved on and how did it affect me??
Think of it from rey's POV too. This guy has been rejected TWICE. He's never gonna trust love again. And if they seriously bring a 3rd girl for this poor guy now, my head will explode. It took me agesss to get over kria's exit and kind of accept taani. And isn't it so damn ridiculous that this guy keeps falling so hard in and out of love. What is this an Ekta kappor serial?? D3 has reached new heights of unrealistic.
This show was about the youth, and surviving, finding your passion, growing as an individual, but throwing a character out of the show just because the 'creatives' couldn't think a little out of the box and find a career for this girl. WOW.
And one thing. The other dancers (apart from sharon, rey, swayam), they are not even main. All they do is just dance at every event they are told about by their leaders then go home. Their personalities all remained the same, none of them have grown. So how exactly do they have more a different future than taani. They all just stand around with 2-3 lines. Less than her actually.
(NOTE: I AM NOT INSULTING ANYONE HERE, JUST SAYING HOW NONE OF THESE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS HAVE GROWN EITHER SINCE PALKI SAID TAANI'S CHARACTER WASN'T GROWING).
Now coming to TR fans. I agree. I totally sympathize with you because this is highly unprofessional and rude. Me as a swaron fan and a kriyansh fan I felt I got some closure by seeing those interviews of sneha and shakti where they stated they left the show on their own accord, but now since this exit is the PH's own idea they kept it under tight wraps. I can imagine let's say if Palki threw vrushi out without any reason maybe saying she was too young or new at this acting thing I would have blown my head off screaming. This thing that was done was handled unprofessionally and you deserve to be mad.
I actually thought it was some dumb rumour tellybuzz started because I watch other shows where telly buzz starts rumours and they are NEVER true. But today I heard palkis interview so I guess it is true.
May God help this production for this immature and silly act they have committed. It was totally not done.
