What if Ekta Kapoor directed D3?

We do need a few laughs every now and then, in these trying times. We've attacked Palki Malhotra repeatedly for nasty things that happen in D3, but I wonder, what if D3 was an Ekta Kapoor show? Let's just imagine what kind of direction at any stage the show had taken if she was running it. Queen of twists? Queen of melodrama? Queen beyond logic? Let's make a few guesses.

For loads of references, this is Ekta Kapoor's idea of a youth drama.
Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi

Fair, it is nearly a decade old, but this is the show that launched Panchi Bora, Karan Singh Grover, Mansi Parekh and Barkha Bist amongst others. While we do admire this show because it is old, there's nothing else in it to really admire- some of it makes you cringe. You can also refer to her chacha-chachi soaps for a few more ideas.

Fire away, folks!

Umm...let's just say Ekta will make D3 into something like KMHZ? With village people (elders included) who speak English? And that Rinni/Simmi pair appearing really dumb and bratty, like Udita? And Bharat speaking good English? And teachers getting more involved with their students- maybe getting a little too close? Plenty of drinking at pubs?

And if we take in EK's chacha-chachi shows, we'll have at least one fatality in the show...of the lead...which will get reversed as the lead comes back looking different. Or how some characters suddenly become five inches taller or shorter. Or Taani learning to dance and becoming a full dance member in three days, but still wearing overly traditional festive/wedding dresses all the time.

EK-soaps to sabhi dekhte hain...logic ho na ho...TRPs to hain na!

Expect more mummy-papa involvement in the show if it was an EK show. Like why Kria and Swayam/Taani would leave- "Yeh Shaadi Nahin ho Sakti!"

Dazzlings/Weaklings rivalry would stay on, and would be very bitter, with a lot of cheating on both sides. The 'Weaklings' would call themselves something more positive, and have a less positive name for the Dazzlers.
