It feels awesome when people comment more than just awesome or nice. It's not about writing an essay or something but just a few, genuine words are enough. I am glad that many of you are doing that. Thanks a lot… Truly love you. Also the spammers, muaaah n a big hug. Huge thanks to the likers too… Keep it all coming 😉😃
He didn't know what he said wrong that she ran away like that after pouring her pain out in heart rending words.
He followed her towards his room. She was in hers n when he tried to go in, found the door locked. Geet darwaza kholo. Not a sound came, n previous images of her with knife; with cuts on her hands, scars on her wrist…. filled his mind. He should have thought before speaking.
He called her name several times n checked the door from Jia's room too. To say he was scared would be an understatement. He was terrified. Geet please open the door otherwise I will break it. No response. He ran a hand through his hairs n shoved his shoulder into the door. Of course the door didn't break. But he continued, pushing himself into the door n calling for her desperately.
She kept her hands on her ears to block out the sound. But the thought that he was hurting himself made her weak n she finally opened the door, not meeting his eyes with her teary ones.
Her face was expressionless. She had washed it of all traces of little make up that she had done. In turn her face was now red n tear streaked, the dark circles more prominent with the scrubbed kohl. He pulled her nearly limp body into his arms. Mai pehle nai tha. Par mai ab hu Geet. He cupped her face so that she would look in his filled eyes, see what he felt. Tumhare paas.
Kab tak? She asked in straight, low voice. Nothing is permanent. Aaj aap yahan hai, kal nai honge. Aaj mai hu, kal shayad…
Shut up. He reproached before she could continue. Tumhe kya lagta mai tumhe dubara kahin jane dunga. How could she even think something like that? Even when she wasn't there with him, he at least knew she was alive somewhere, if not then his life here in this world would have been impossible. Bhagwan bhi ab tumhe mujhse alag nai kar sakte. Tumhe unse cheen launga ya khud tumhare paas aa jaoga.
How could he love her so much? She stared in his eyes which reflected the truth of his each word. His face was a picture of love that he was ready to shower on her. Tum jo chahe kar sakti ho. Make up, clothes anything. Tumhe jo chahiye mai la ke dunga. Just never run away from me, please. It kills me when you do that.
She cried wiping his tears feeling so small, so unworthy. No matter what he said, she knew she was underserving n happiness couldn't remain at her side forever. Tomorrow or someday after that she would be left all alone but for now she didn't want to worry him. Mujhe kuch nai chahiye Maan siwaye aapke. She confessed without much thinking.
He pulled her to the bed n made her sit before him. Wiping her face, he studied it for a while and she cowered under his scrutiny. She had completely changed, from this outwardly, sunken appearance to the inner person who had filled his life with light n joy. Mujhe bhi kuch chahiye?
Accha, kya? She raised her head expectantly, pleased that she could be of some use. Her hollow eyes pinched him, broke his heart a little more. I want my old Geet back, my toy girl.
She actually smiled at the name, a rush of old memories flowing almost drowning her. How she used to hate it initially n then love it more than anything. Her face fell though the next instant as she looked down knotting the corner of her dubatta. He held her shoulder. Bolo Geet, tum dogi na mujhe meri toy girl wapas. She wished she could. Again tears sprang into her eyes at her inadequacy. Wo nai ho sakta Maan.
Ho sakta hai.
He pulled her closer to hold her face in his hands. I miss her. I miss you.
Geet hugged him.
I miss her too. She did. She really-really did. She missed the person she used to be. Then life was easy, full of fun. She didn't think so much about anything. Life was filled with silly dreams. She was full of confidence n looked up to everyday like a new start. Then she had Maan, her papaji, her mama, friends… they used to take care of her so she didn't know how horrible n cruel fate could be. Slowly she lost everyone, her small world broke into thousand n she discovered how cursed she was. Everyone left n she died.
She could do nothing else but cry. Only sorrow was there in her life. Mai bhi chahiti hu mai khush raho. Wo… pehle ki tarah, par… par aisa ho nai pata.
Ghosts of past haunted her n present was dull, empty. Her future was same, she knew it. She wanted to go back to her old self n she tried but she wasn't that person anymore. Time had changed and so did she. Now what was left in her was failure n the only thing for her to do was to live somehow, anyhow… to drag herself through another day simply because she wasn't lucky enough to leave this body.
His throat choked as he saw the hopelessness in her eyes. Although he wanted to cry with her, Maan knew he had to be her strength. He cupped her face n kissed her little, red nose. Hoga Geet. You would be happy again. He promised himself to bring his old toy girl back.
It was good to have hope but Geet was afraid for the time when he would fail n she would disappoint him.
At night when Geet was making her bed in her room, Maan simply picked her into his arms n brought her into his room. Stay here I will be back in a little bit. His little bit extended to 1:30 n wearily he entered his room after making Jia sleep somehow.
A grin automatically spread across his face, all tiredness gone, at the sight of his wife half asleep on his bed probably because of the sleeping pill. He jumped into the bed beside her, draping her form with his where she fitted perfectly. She moaned before opening her eyes. Jia so gai? His exhausted face made her wish that she could help him but the place he held in Jia's heart n world was irreplaceable n she had no intention to try either. Jia had all the right on her Daddy. Yes. The muffled voice made her tingly as he buried his face in her hairs.
She arched more into him letting her lips rub against his collar bone while she wriggled. Maan-jolted down to his member-pulled back. Not now jaan. She made a baby face almost throwing out a 'kyu'. It wouldn't be wrong to say that she was whole day waiting for the night when they would be closest. She craved his love like never before, breaking inside every second to feel him once more. He saw the disappointment on her face and in spite of feeling bad was rather excited by her reaction. Yet, no matter how much he wanted to take her, he couldn't. Her condition that morning had scared him, she was weak n unwell and he wanted to give her time before unleashing his passion again on her. Dejected she started to retreat. He pulled her nearer not allowing any movement.
Confused she glanced into his eyes. Bahut bechaini hai, huh Geet? He asked n redness colored her cheeks. Let's see if can sleep in my arms without pouncing on me. He challenged with a smirk. Of course she could. That was only place in the world n circle of time where she could sleep soundly. So, there cramped tightly in his embrace she closed her eyes n drifted into sleep faster than he had imagined. He made a complaining face but kissed her forehead closing his own eyes.
Next day when Geet came out of the bathroom Maan was searching something around. Geet I had brought a file, I couldn't find it now. It was red in color or pink, something like that. He said frustrated. You had kept it in here. He came behind her where she took out the file from the top of his book shelf. Relieved he took in a breath n the smell of shampoo mixed her with her aroma wafted in his nose. Instantly he felt weak on his knees.
She raised the file for him take but he held her waist n turned her around. Just by witnessing the glazed look in hooded eyes, she blushed n Maan removed the file from her hand throwing it on the bed. He pushed her into the shelf n she gasped holding his shoulders. His muscles twitched where she touched. He wanted to avoid this but her damp skin just called for lips to graze it. Just once. With that he placed his lips on her neck n sucked in the drops of water.
tere jism ko chua toh jinda hu main
iss baat par mujhe yakin hua
aaj tu woh tufaan ban kar
baras mujhpe
ke bas, tere liye zinda hu main
yeh baaki rah jaaye
aur
har woh yaad jo tere bina aayi
aandhi ki taraah bah jaaye

Her nails scraped his scalp lightly n that did it. His hands slipped down to squeeze her hips n push her up while he grind his body against her. Maan… She moaned urgently, pulling his head up so that their lips would meet n she could quench both his n her thirst.
He just left her n clenched his fists. I am waiting downstairs. Picking the file he walked out.
Geet didn't know what went wrong. Since yesterday, after their ahem-ahem, he was behaving like this. She thought he wanted her when he had helped her back to his room when she was sick in morning though after that he was maintaining distance. Worriedly she chewed on her lip… may be she wasn't good. He didn't found satisfaction in her. Certainly that was it, how could she even think that she would be enough for him. She stared down at herself. She was ugly n he was flawless. Closing her eyes she lived the moment again when he was buried deep inside her but she had no right to wish for it again. Because it wasn't as perfect for him as it was for her. It would never be because she was soiled n undeserving.
Coming down she looked at him longingly. While serving breakfast she sought for his one glance. Maan noticed her anxiousness n a plan formed in his mind. I don't want to eat. Angrily he stood up and started to go out. Kyu kya hua Maan? Dadimaa asked. He looked at Geet n said. Kuch nai.
She followed him out. Aap nazar hai mujhse? I am sorry. Without doing anything she was saying sorry, uff. Aap nashta karke jayiye. Please. Maan turned n faked anger, showing her his big eyes. Nai n don't bother sending lunch too. He told though lunch never went from KM but was ordered from a hotel for him and other heads working under him.
He turned around with a smirk on his face n left for office.
Don't take tension Geet. Rohan said once Geet came inside. Drama kar rahe hai bas.
It was easy for him to say but how could she not worry. It was all her fault. She went upstairs with tears in her eyes. Hours passed n she just mulled over everything that happened the previous day n today morning, going over it again n again. She cried n cursed herself, complained to god n finally exhausted but still restless n worried she went to Dadimaa. Dadimaa, Maan ne breakfast nai kia.
Arre Geet aap abhi tak wahi baat leke baithi hai. Maan toh bas aise hi hai. Then she saw tears in Geet's eyes. Isme rone wali kya baat hai beta.
Wo naraz hai aur pata nai unhone kuch khaya hoga ya nai. Dadimaa smiled at her. At least she was sharing what she felt, this was big step ahead. Geet you know what a wife should do in such situation.
Kya? Dadimaa told her that she should take lunch for him. Geet was apprehensive but it was her doing and what if he hadn't eaten anything. Another problem was going out that too to his big office, she mustered up courage n decided to go. After changing into a better suit n doing some light make up so that she wouldn't appear like a ghost, when she came down Shanaya was there.
Arre waah you are ready, let's go.
I am sorry Shanaya. I had asked you to go with me for shopping but I can't come right now. I have to go to Maan's office to give his lunch.
Ohh.. It's okay then we shall go some other day. Rohan also came there n Shanaya stiffened while speaking. I… should go.
Wait Shanaya. I am really sorry but you can go with Rohan. Rohan raised his brows. This was why Geet had called Shanaya with the excuse of shopping. Rohan had told her that Shanaya was avoiding him like no tomorrow after that day in farm house. And Geet had seen genuine anxiety on Rohan's face. He was just confused n unsure but not as bad as Shanaya thought.
Nai... I will just go back.
No. See I would feel bad if you had to go back. Please go with Rohan. I promise he would behave. Geet made a puppy face that no one could say no to. Rohan, can you take her?
Sure. He said with a nonchalant shrug trying to appear cool then practically ran towards his room to get dressed n Geet also left. Both didn't wait for Shanaya's consent n she twisted her lips in whine.
PRECAP- Just imagine, Geet in office n Maan plans….😳😉
