Forum 32 article not justified completely

I read the post when they posted it in the FB and I have mixed reactions regarding this post to be honest.

Yes people are bashing QH left and right nowadays and sometime they are harsh . But name calling the actor? It is something I didn't see much in this forum. Maybe others did but personally I didn't. Yes people are name calling the character including me specially for the character of Tanveer because I feel that character is too negative and making most of the women in this forum question themselves as a woman. I don't watch soaps , neither do I belong to any FC or bash , hate or adore a particular character. QH is my second desi show and I am amazed to the extent of negetivity shown in this show. Not only that this negetivity is although necessary for the story to progress is stretched beyond people tolerance limit and I feel promote negetivity in a way.

I know many will say that why don't you stop watching it if you don't like it and its true really. But although I am kinda new in all these viewers get really attached to a show which they follow regularly as a loyal viewer and slowly the characters become a part of their daily life. So even though people might not like a particular track and criticize its not always possible to GET OVER IT and that's true also.

These soaps showcases the lifestyle and cultural beliefs of a certain country and community. We as viewers kinda start relate to these characters although most of us understand that these are fictional characters and not real. Kinda like we read books and sometime we become so attached to the storyline we start to relate to the characters of the story. It's not bad , neither does it make a viewer/reader delusional or crazy.

QH has been a very good show but things took a different turn in recent times as soon as the new antagonist arrived and that too for the TRP. During in SR period this show showed such things which is unacceptable for some viewers because this show is primarily tagged as a family show. I know that scene was necessary but could have been shown in a subtle way . There was too much detail and some of us watch these show with family. Yes the actors worked hard but still if someone says something not in Favour of that scene people are not wrong either. It' can not be considered as bashing the cast and crew.

As for Karan no one ever bashed that guy except for some lunatics who come from other forums to start a fight intentionally. Karan is a fav actor and he is a thorough professional and hard worker to be very honest and I also feel so even though I am not a KSG fan or know him from his other soaps or something.

People bashes Asad when people see him behaving in a certain way which is kinda not normal for a normal sane person. No one bashes Karan as an actor but the character for acting OTT. To be honest just to create drama elements and drag the track it's the CVswho made Asad the way he is. He has come to such a stage where many viewers can't relate to him and hence they become critical to the character. Being called Ass head is indeed horrible but calling dumb or without brain is a pretty normal reaction specially when the CVs are showing such things with a purpose. Even I heard the actors call each other dumb in QH interviews.

I personally feel Forum 32 is fed up with fans comments in this track and since for some reason they don't want to wrap up soo soon like in a week they are using Karan's name since they know that Karan's name has the capability to shut up the viewers mouth . Karan is this popular and OFCOURSE this guy deserves it in every way.

I personally don't think Karan will feel bad if Asad is called dumb since he himself confirmed that many times in interviews

As for Tanveer her character is beyond negative. It's too much to handle at times and I feel too much negetivity ruins people's mood and a show. People watch them for entertainment and it should be that way. This negetivity is dragged to the extreme and for long IMO F32 said we should give ideas in a written form but why should we give ideas? They created this and to be honest many people give many ideas in this forum regarding bringing positivity in this show and if they are out of ideas why don't they read them and get ideas on their own?

They are the one who extended this track to the extreme and there were many ways to end these characters and bring positivity but they chose differently because of the TRP

Tanveer is such a character which brings out the worst of even the most sane viewers and they created them. Then why complain?

Yes name calling Amrapali is bad but I see here mostly people name call Tanveer not Amrapali.

But I am relieved at the extent of negativity shown..because that assures us that the character is going to meet its end one day..there are so many shows that introduce slightly negative characters and hook them up with the leads...and when that story starts gaining TRPs..the original lead is forgotten...they span over a long period of time with the leads never finding their happy ending...they almost always die at the end of the show...leaving a bad taste in the viewers mouth...

As far as the explicit portrayal of a certain thing on television...here is where viewers discretion is advised...that was just a one off episode...if you see other shows on Indian TV...u will realize that explicit or not...they are crass beyond acceptable and they are like that day after day...we do get normal happy episodes in QH...i can tell u for sure as my mom watches other TV shows...there is not a single day that goes without conspiracy...human relations are treated like a joke...the regressive portrayal knows no limits...with MTV and Channel V serving crass and crude every day, trust me TV is no more censored...you have to exercise your discretion...

4 lions are a production house...even they are not that blind so as to miss the fact that Tanveer is hated and the TRPs are not because of her...but we as audience can only like or dislike the characters and product they give us...we can by no means teach or instruct them how to do their job or name call them..which we may not do but other people do..u honestly tell me...this Tanveer drama has been going on since so long...most of us have screamed our guts out...but still the TRPs remain stable...that means we are still watching...maybe because we are so attached to QH...but if we are attached we need to trust the people who made it in the first place..

QH means more to them than it can ever mean to u and me...because they have made it with so much heart and hardwork, name calling will hurt them obviously..they are humans too...Forum 32 is as much a platform for them to voice their thoughts...

We may agree or disagree with them...and the same way they can disagree with our demands too...but then they have a vision for their product and it needs to play out the way they have imagined..because if we could be them, aaj QH hum bana rahe hote, woh nahi...

Many of us (delena90, bheegi and me ) have posted polite feedback - basically questioning the entire Tanveer track. The character imo is very poorly written and there is no justification for her evil actions. The feedback has been very polite but as expected has not been acknowledged. The only type of feedback they seem to acknowledge is either positive ones or that deal with Karan's looks!

Also, imo, since they are in a public profession, they should brace themselves for criticism! Bouquets and brickbats are a part of their working life. We work too - do we get praised in the office for whatever we do! No!

Most of the negative feedback I have seen (on F32 FB page and even here) have been targeted against the characters (Tanveer and ofcourse brainless Asad). This is because of the illogical track that the writers have conceived... Not one post, have I seen where Amrapali has been bashed. No one has claimed that KSG or AG cant act.

This is what bugged me in the article - If they are asking us to differentiate between character and actor, they need to be able to do the same.

While I do condemn any comments by fans about the actor or actress (name -calling, or any reference to their personal lives), I think as an audience we are justified in criticising a character. Calling Asad brainless isnt an abuse! Heck, as you pointed out even KSG makes fun at his character!

Regarding the entire Tanveer track, there has been no backstory, no reason given as to why she is so evil. Delena90 had some months back posted a long post on the FB page asking for some justification and had suggested very politely some things - her feedback, as expected, was not even acknowledged.

So agree with you and Karan Is execellent as and actor but sadly he has had to potray a dumb asshole (i am doing this on purpose) Not his fault as KSG but CV's and writers who have made it that way. Tannu is such a witch that even the most reliable, good looking and intelligent man ends up being a dumbo( like ASAD)

So agree that the CV's can pluck many an idea from this forum itself. The fans have written beautifully in some the FF's, SS's and OS's . If they choose to ignore the talents of some of the fans and are so self centered to think only they are capable of writing stories than it is their bad.

The thought comes to me whether these writers have seen any bad in their lifes or if they have experienced the pain of whatever they themselfs are trying to portray. Nobody wants what they show to happen to them, their loved ones or friends. The world all around has too much misery and when we ON our tele's what we are looking for is entertainment and not more evil ways. Agreed that twist and turns are there to make it more interesting and challenging but when it is dragged to far and too long than it becomes a sore point for the viewers. Please do not use the Actors to try and stop the viewers from giving their actual view points.

KSG, SJ, Shalini and the rest are excellent actors and have been doing what is required of them by the producers to the best of best of their abilities and they are much appreciated for that. Our love and support for them remains even if they leave QH.

Yes I think I am nit delusional but this character is soo bad that sometime I feel if any woman can ever stoop so low and yes as a woman myself Thats questioning myself .
