How Asad can marry Tanveer who is already married

I have one big question for the latest development, how can Asad marry Tanveer who has told him that she is married and ran off from her abusive husband who constantly made attempts to hurt her ( according to billis story to Mr. Khan)?❓

Well, she did feed Asad the bullshit about her husband being very abusive so she left him. Knowing what a naive man he is, he's not going to make her go back to her husband to file a divorce. In his eyes, her husband is bad enough to make an attempt to kidnap Tanveer.

This is a Muslim show. Polygamy isn't against Islam, and here we even have a pretty solid reason too.

This is not polygamy but polyandry wherein a wife is shared by two or more men, and it is totally unacceptable in Islam.
