Episode 326 Discussion: 17th July 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

just read WU..

i don't know whether i shud watch or not..

people here u r writing and who have seen the episode please suggest..

i just liked Rishbala wala part in WU.. Sulpali are really a dangerous combo.. i really want smart Rishbala here to tackle them..

like the episode speacially RIshbala scene , RK so quickly guess that Mb who was previously defending bhai was now opposing him and he also guess that MB has seeen bhai true colour,

lovely precap im glad that RK dint shoot bhai out of anger but shoot to protect him and MB and good that bittuji was also present there

Wow, a lot of ground covered today. RK has taken the bait, and heads over to confront Sultan and put an end to the garbage, once and for all .

Madhu and RK:

A perceptive RK questions Madhu about her change of heart re: Sultan. She lets him know that he was right and she was wrong. She admits it! Yes!
Am glad that there is no doubt in RK's mind about Madhu (didn't expect there to be, but still...)
Liked Madhu's response to RK's possessive rant, along the lines of why are you telling me this, nothing new, you don't have to convince me. Rishbala are really looking more and more like a couple. Too bad, we know travails lurk around the corner. BTW, I have to listen to RK's words again to see whether there was any significance in those (or better still, read all your reviews on EDT!)

Dawn. Its judgement day. RK wants to confront Sultan for daring to try to separate him and Madhu. RK removes his entwined hand from a sleeping Madhu's but promises to be back. Arms himself with a gun. Since he did intend to be back, wonder what exactly he was planning.

Sulpali - The Immoral Partners in Crime: Sultan and Dipali show some sizzling evil chemistry on the phone. Of course, the sizzle seems to be all on Dips side. Lechy gangster just makes some macho sounding noises on his side.

Sultan uses RK's poster for target pratice as he waits for him to show up. So much of hate, so much of venom.

Dips mock-strangles a sleeping Madhu as she waits to wake up. So much of hate, so much of venom.

Part 2 of plan in action, now that RK as taken the bait. Operation Get Madhu to Be The Witness. Dips is careful to tell her that "RK rushed out in a rage saying he was going to kill Sultan." A set-up! A set-up! And Dips successfully gets Madhu going.

Sultan-RK

Sultan goads RK, all part of his plan. Trying to push him over the edge.
RK is getting mad. Sultan had what I initially thought was a smug smile on his face. But wait, isn't that the same expression he uses when he is happy? Or sad? Or frustrated? Or..? Can someone help me here in interpreting?
RK had some good lines, delivered RK style. Sultan - whatever.

My sense of the players today:

Dips - in a strange way, she came across as a total loser. Immoral, scheming, conniving, sure. But no soul, nothing at all behind that mask.
Sultan: I could not stand him. He is going after his target with calculated intent.
RK: I just love him. No question. He's the man. Doing what he needs to do to protect his family - which is Madhu. A different matter altogether that he hasn't gotten the full measure of Sultan. He disdains him, and in doing so, underestimates him. That will turn out to be his Achilles heel.
Madhu: caught in this maelstrom, which was intially started by her, and now is the helpless pawn or bystander in all this - the situation has spiralled out of control, and has gone beyond her. Madhu, in the days ahead, please remember your Chaudrain blood.

The Precap: Sultan grabs the gun, and points it at our beloved hugging couple. In the ensuing chaos, RK tries to pull the gun away from Sultan's hands - the gun that is ending up being pointed at a fatalistic looking Madhu.

Finally Madhu admitted to RK, that she was wrong, and he was right about Sultan...but in this situation, it is not 'better late than never'. Things have got into a dangerous spiral.

RK -madhu scene was theek thaaK..the good thing is they have started talking more, communicating more...not so good...RK is beginning to hide his anger from her, mostly out of concern for her health. Right enough, he leaves the house in the morning, in time for the meeting with Sultan.

Door jab kahin bachcha rota hai, to maa kehti hai, so ja, munna/munni varna Mumbai ka sultan aa jaayega😆. And there he is, on top a hillock...lording it over Mumbai.😆

RK-Sultan conversation seemed repetitive, except that RK figures out very quickly Sultan never expected Madhu to come, the invitation was for him. RK calls him Kameena, Sultan calls him naajayaz.

Dipali informs Madhu that RK has indeed left to meet Sultan...

Filler episode..the actual drama will take place only when Madhu reachs there, as per Sultan's plan.

First of all I am glad for the precap, Bittuji, madhu all were present and RK doesn't kill sulthan in anger while no one is around, I am looking out for tomorrow

Though I wish they informed cops too beforehand and got sulthan arrested

Liked today's episode, rk madhu vs dips and sulthan, well of course RK is not going to sit calm after knowing it all. Liked rk madhu talk, though i think madhu owes RK an appology, inspite of RK disapproval, she pushed things this far

Dipali is making a complete fool of herself, she is doing things without knowing actual sulthan plan?? How i wish to see sikky kick her, she is totally out of her senses

Sulthan is provoking RK, he is loosing it all before actually shooting him I want to see him kick sulthan all black and blue

The good thing in today's episode was that Madhu accepted her mistake for the first time. I hope this is succeeded by some growth in her character.

The bad thing is that RK has stopped being the intelligent RK we knew. His taking the bait today was disappointing. That he gave Sultan the respect to be his adversary was even more disappointing.

Precap - Somehow the fact that Madhu came to the war zone with Bittooji is making me happy. At least she has grown that much brains as to not end up meeting Sultan alone in case RK actually did not go there.

Let me get this straight ...

So the plan was to enrage RK to a point where he shoots Sultan with his gun and with Madhu as witness. Sultan was relying on Madhu's righteousness to give testimony against RK and thus blackmail her into leaving him for re-appearing hale and hearty. Or was he going to wait until RK was hanged for a crime he did not commit and then appear. Maybe he was going to let RK shoot him and then shoot RK citing self-defense with Madhu as witness. I am not sure why he wanted Madhu there.

I am a little confused here as to Sultan's plan and why Dips would participate because obviously it would end badly for RK in all the scenarios.

It seems like things did not go by plan...Instead of using his gun...RK pounces on Sultan's gun with real bullets thus killing Sultan in self defense while Madhu/Bittuji are his witness.

i'm in no mood to write a review, i'll try writing one..i forgot the high points actually 😆 the episode was kind of dull and boring...

the RM scene..Madhu cleverly didn't tell RK abt Sultan's indecent proposal , otherwise he wouldn't have waited till morning 😆 nor did she tell him that she met Sultan...I expected a better convo b/w them but something was amiss..silent understanding? really ! RK doesn't have to remind her abt his pagalpan and junoon ..but i liked his snatching the chand from the sky dialogue...thoda suna suna sa tha...heard Anupam Kher mouthing the same in DDLJ 🤣

again, RK was the highlight .."cheap Mumbai ka Sultan , sab chod ke busy snatching others surname, wives, respect.", "kameena" , etc. etc. he was the voice of all RK fans today 👏 liked another one of his dialogues "meri movie yahan shoot hui thi..khuda hafiz" 😃

no comments on Bhai and Dips..pathetic acting from Bhai and horrendous nightgown of Dips 🤢 that's all i remember...

Precap was nice..Madhu reached the spot and now she, and Bittuji will be the witness..

Sorry to rain on this parade, but from all indications, Sultan is around for at least a couple of months. So unless we are going to see his bhatakti atma, or judwa bhai, I think it is safe to assume that Sultan does not actually die. 😭
