Actress Meenakshi Sethi, who has done shows like Teen Bahuraniyaan, Baba Aiso Var Dhoondho, Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna and played Aftab Shivdasani's mother in Bollywood film Aloo Chaat has bagged Shrishti Arya'suntitled show on Sony Entertainment Television.
The actress will replace Ramna Wadhwa who was earlier cast to play the role.
Sources inform that Meenakshi will play the role of Sangeeta Ghosh's Naani. Her character will be full of life, totally opposite to Sulbha Deshpande's character who is a very serious person in the show. Meenakshi's character will act a breather in Sangeeta's life. The shooting for the show is expected to begin in a week or two.
When contacted, Meenakshi said, "Yes, I am doing the show and it's a very interesting character. I can't divulge too much on my role but the shooting for the promo will be shot in a day or two."
