Wow Shailendra wrote the lyrics for Guide? How well he supported the music of SD Burman! My favourite is "tere pyaar mein chaaha kya, kya mila" and in that song I love the lines
tere mere dil ke beech ab to
sadiyon ke faaslein hain
yakeen hoga kise ki hum tum
ek raah sang chale hain

These lyrics can stand up to Sahir's poetry!

What i recall is someone once mailed them to me. many such handwritten notes of music related person. somehow i have lost contact with the person.
