Well what can i say...
honestly very honestly i dont see any interesting element in the show... the show was promised to be something else and we got something else. Before any mis understanding happens i would like to say... the show was promised to be khoobsurat if i am not wrong... If you guys havent seen that movie i would suggest go and watch it... ChCh is not even 1% of khoosurat.
Khubsoorat had right amount of drama, comedy and light hearted romance between the leads. even thought it was more of a comedy movie but still i loved the cute romance between rekha ji and rakesh roshan.
Coming back to CC honestly i didnot see any khubsoorat element till date.
Even the romance before building it up they rushed to few things which we would have loved to see gradually. Suddenly there was a change of characterization in manav... from a chirpy teeny guy he was suddenly portryaed as a matured husband. I understand there was a change in actor but still there should have been some similarities between manav then and manav now... it was absolutely lack of script and horrible direction.
Sanaya was not given any scope to perform as per her caliber. And Supriya ji was wasted showing a grey character. She is just too much grey. Honestly now a days we have many shows like chhanchhan which are executed well.
I think there is a huge fault in the back end team rather than actors as they have been wrong from the very beginning... There was no umph factor no special element. the subject was too predictable and those which were not predictable was horribly executed.
The very first thing which went wrong was the choice of male lead against sanaya. I am not critisizing him though, it is a directors job to look after the minus and the plus points. but putting him against such a seasoned actresses like sanaya and supriya ji was a nose drop.
When anuj was taken in the group suddenly the whole character was changed. I wonder why? Anuj has so much potential in him that he could have easily done happy go lucky guy role instead of a matured husband. I would have loved to see his Manav's faults initially then gradually he would have changed.
Coming to sanaya's character, even it was changed drastically. Where is that challanging girl? it is lost somewhere and she is portrayed as a stupid bahu (think about it before bashing for this line) she is modern, she is educated still she cannot understand the complexities of uma ben? its hardly believable.
There is no direct fight between uma ben and chhanchhan, every thing is done peet peechy... and ultimately neither MIL nor SIL wins... its weird.
Even Uma Ben's character has changed.
Honestly very honestly... no matter i love to see chanman romancing... but sigh! there is nothing else to show in the serial other than both of them romancing time to time... i wonder till how long they will be able to pull it off.
Very sad indeed.
I have kept on telling time to time whenever i have posted in this forum that the script needs to improve no matter now many good actors you have in your basket you need good story, script and direction for make a show last long.
