Episode 324 Discussion: 15th July 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

So what was the whole point of the idiotic kriyakaram drama? To reinstate Madhu as the responsible wife who brings the wayward husband back on the right track? And the dutiful bahu who fights for her MIL's rights and brings the mother-son back together? Guess after butchering Madhu's character mercilessly, the CVs are going full steam ahead to make it likable again. Well, I'm not complaining!!

Both the Rishbala scenes today were about Madhu being RK's ultimate support as well as his conscience. After the shallowness of their relationship the last few weeks (thanks to Madhu putting Sultan's pain over RK's), it was good to see the depth and sincerity back in their interactions.

Sultan and Deepali have joined forces against Rishbala. They reminded me of the saying - Ram milaaye jodi, ek andha ek kodhi 😆 Deepali has a horrible track record of bringing Rishbala closer whenever she has tried to tear them apart. Sultan is digging his grave by making her his partner 😛

PS. Could DD's make-up man please throw away that horrendous scarlet lipstick in the deepest of wells 😡

S: Doctor, trust me, I've been rule breaking since I was nine. Bappa wants me to do this.

D: And then RK will be mine, mine, mine! Never mind that I've been trying to get him back for the past year and have just been humiliating myself, this time, because I have the ever so reliable and intelligent Sultan on my side, I'll win!
P: Um...
S: Yes, I'm going to offer RK the name which I have no legal rights to in order to get Madhu to give herself to me. Because wife giving is totally less controversial and headline grabbing. She'll come to me straightaway! I, Sultan, king of the underworld in Dubai and Mumbai, swear it!
P: Did you say you were a don? And you plan is a wife for name swap?
S and D: yeah, so what?
P: You don't happen to have a second in command right?
S and D: Eh?
P: You know, I can help you two. In fact, tell me your address so I can send help over.
S and D: Oh thanks, Doc!
Psy hangs up and dials mental hospital: Hi, I have two patients that need to be checked in. They didn't get the memo that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over. If Bappa was listening to them, I guarantee he would have been reaching for a bottle.

i have just read. not watched but still wanna give my views...

@CR u talk about Deepali's horrible effort of bringing RM togather. even Sultan has played a role making RK mad after saparation...

i cudn't find much relevance of that antim saankaar drama.. why it was shown just to make madhu faint and one faint pregancy news will go viral.. nice but i didnt like it..

instead i wud have liked some confrontation between Radhaji and RK..

precap is pointing out towards EK type story.. i just hope CVs keep this 'Alag Che' elemant in their serial..

otherwise TRP will show the mirror again..

Main thing in today's episode for me was the confirmation of the evil nexus of Dips-Sultan, and reaffirmation of RK-Madhu vows.

Madhu-RK:

Madhu brings a drunk RK home from the studio, after reassuring him that she will never leave him. And doesn't say anything when he mentions Sultan's name. I don't blame her -there's a time and place, and this wasn't it.

RK brings home the long-suffering pandit, to perform Radhaji's shraddh. In effect declaring that his mother - Radha Mohan Kundra is now dead for him. A devastated Madhu, seeing her loving husband slipping away, tries to reason with him, to no avail. Finally, she faints, thereby effectively stopping him/pulling him back from the brink. A chastened, calmer RK later promises Madhu never to do something like this again.

Yesterday Madhu said to Sultan that she would never let go of RK come hell or high water - the world, God or RK himself would not make her stop loving him or leave him. In his turn, today RK tells Madhu that he will never leave her, regardless of what the rest of the world, God or Madhu say.

The other characters:

Poor Radhaji - recognizing that its all over now.
Poor Bittuji is helplessly watching.
Sikky makes an instinctive move towards Radhaji to comfort her, but he's such a spineless turncoat, I wouldn't read too much into it.
Dips is Dips. Thrilled to see the family falling apart.

The Vamp and the Villain: Sultan is obsessing about Madhu, and seethingly recalls the spit incident. Dips makes an entry. Delusional Sultan's instinctive reaction "MMMaaadhu...?" What a whack job. Icky Sultan gets mad when Dips refers to "meri Madhu" as Chawlbala. Sultan tells Dips he has a very good plan up his (short, tight) sleeve to separate Rishbala. Deva Deva...

The Precap: Sultan makes the indecent proposition. Somehow I think this is part of the bigger plan. All I can say is, no half measures over here - Sultan has turned into a completely loathsome villain.

scene # 1, beautiful 👏 Madhu reminds RK that they don't need anyone as they are there for each other and will always be ! RK reaffirms that he has Madhu and Sultan can never take her away from him..

scene # 2, kiryakarm, well pandit harassed again🤣 kya bad kismat the pandits of MB, the job never gets completed..the only 2 times i remember kuch kaam theek hua tha, Sultan's wife's shradh and RM's wedding ! RK threatening Panditji was hilarious, so was Radha's reaction ..Radhaji pendulum lag rahi thi..it was funny the way she broke down, n when Madhu fainted, she got up as if nothing happened, phir se sofe par collapse 🤣 2nd good thing about the scene was Madhu angry at RK but understanding his state of mind..her dialogues to RK were fantastic ..."you're my RK, you're not weak , you're strong, I will never let you harm yourself etc. etc. " i liked both her avtaars...Madhu fainted when RK didn't listen to her

scene # 3, RM in their bedroom..my fav. scene today ! i said it in the prev. EDT that Rishu ko jhatka lagega when Madhu is harmed so here he is...loved the way Madhu held his hand and went off to sleep..again, some lovey dovey talks n promises

scene # 4, Bhai Dips 🤣 jodi made in heaven..firstly, AR should learn acting from Seema Mishra for the beginners...now this was expected, both will join hands together to separate RM...can't decide who is more foolish..Dips , bec. she knows RK from so many years and has been a witness to RM's love hate story..or Bhai bec. he's born delusional...even if they separate RM, Sulu or Dips will get nothing...can they make RK or Madhu fall for them? 🤢

All in all, a very interesting episode ! 👏 keep up the good work CV's..Precap is nice..

So RK proceeds to do Rji's kriyakaram. Panditji gang again shivering and wondering...ab kya honewala hai, is ghar mein?? Madhu gets angry and stops the panditji. RK gets a warning from Madhu...don't fall so deep that I am not able to give you my hand to support you. 👏. She also says, she knows he is trying to lose himself, she tells him, he has to live, he has to fight to live, if anything happens to him, she will die👏. I loved it that she understood where he was coming from. She is the only person who can get through to him. In fact, only these two can get through to each other😆
When RK continues his madness, she faints in his arms.👏. Good way to distract him. 😆

Rji is shaken and in shock, she says she has lost RK once again. Shamaji...another round of applause, great acting from her. 👏
RK is by Madhu's side...beautiful scene👏. They both reaffirm to stay together through all of this. Hmm, he refuses a doctor. I'm suspicious. Am not saying anything though.
Sultan...deva deva...late reaction to the spit, hours later he got a shock, thinking of it😆. Polishing his guns and going over Madhu's tirade, hai deva. And maybe the african tripe is right, you know he thought Madhu had landed at his doorstep🤣. I thought he recognised her footfall, how could he mistake Dipali's for madhus?
Deal between Dipali and Sultan?? Really? And he has the perfect plan to separate our couple. Haath lagaake bata, zor ka jhatka, TRP ka lagega na...now it is back to weekly TRPs, mind it!!
On a personal note, I wanted to enter the TV and slap him😡. he's forgotten all about his mother?? Besharam kuputra..(antithesis of Suputra)
On a different note, SM urf Dipali, ke saamne to mat aaana, woh generally scene ko khaa jaati hai😆😆

I think today Dipali was quite horrendous.. The way she was enjoying RJ n Madhu fainting, RK's breakdown, etc.. How disgusting one can get.??

But Seema Mishra was awesome., her body language, dialogues, expressions.. 👏 Bhai can take a few tips now that they are partners in crime,,,

Loved Rishbala!! Madhu rocked it.. Both DVD were bang on with expressions! In the studio, living room ad then later in the BR.. Loved all their scenes,.. Now that Madhu is being more rational, the old charm is back...

Feel bad for RJ.. I hope RK gets around to her again.. He should be shown tat even she has been a victim in this entire drama. May be he will become the rational RK again..

A foolish question.. I know there is one background music for sultan. The kind in old films would usually be on villains.. What is this deva deva? Bcos that doesn't look like some Ganesha music to me.., can someone help me with the deva deva music? It's been there since sultan's entry and I m asking this when his exit is near..
