Since I haven't really commented on anything lately, I thought I'd write my two cents down… Well, its just really about Gauri and Shiv… Nothing else is really worth a mention, besides my Anupam of course!! I just love that man to bits and pieces and pray that he finds one a thousand times better than that Ipshit…. Well actually I know he will. Here's another of my boring ramblings… Be warned, you might end up curled into a ball ready for sleep…
The world turned upside down, the seas sprouted waves, the winds lost direction… Yet her faith him remained intact. Yes, at one point it had faltered, but that time was too short to even remember. Despite everything, only one name resides on her lips, her heart, her soul… "Shiv… Shiv"… How can someone lose themselves into another so? But I guess this is what they call, "love". I cannot imagine, as I have never experienced such a thing, but Gauri… Well, I'd like to say that as much as I feel bad for her as she is unaware of the deathly truth ever lurking in the air, I envy her as she can love someone so. I find it so fascinating how one can forget the world, the pervasive cries of betrayal, yet so faithfully stand next to that one… Shiv has given her many hints, many clues, many incidents have occurred, enough to make anyone's confidence falter… But not hers. Hers stands against the test of time as a victor, even death dares not shake it. Her loyalty, her devotion towards him is so… unimaginably real. Blinded faithfully by an inextinguishable love she is… I think the only thing… or I should say person who can shake this reverie is Mr. Shiv Kapoor himself. The day her delusion breaks, all hell will break loose… For her, the clouds will rain like never before, the earth will slip beneath the feet… Amidst a crowd, she shall remain alone… Haunted by his memories… The betrayal.
I have to say, since Iqbal's unfortunate exit (for us at least), I watch KAA solely for Pallavi. The actor has destroyed the common misconception that experience builds a person. She hasn't had much experience as far as I know. She was in TD for only a few epis, but here, she has exercised the limits of her talent, and emerged an ace. The lady is fantastic at this!! Her depiction of the raw emotions, the transparency… Its all so convincing. She hasn't let me down once!!
As for Yash, I respect the guy as an actor and perhaps this is the best you can do when you have to take up the spot of a man like Iqbal, and a character like Shiv. He is good in his own style, but for me, Shiv remains eternally Iqbal. I have this strange, perhaps illogical hope that one day, one day he'll be back…
Cheers,
