Bhaatiyani is a threat to her own biological child also. The way she was being insecure whether he will turn out to be as good as Pratap or not and then beating her stomach, mooting that the child better not be born was shocking behaviour!
In reality more than attachment to biological child she wants to use the child to get title of Rajmata and get higher status in mahal and Mewar in general. She is more concerned about how she is remembered in history than how her child will actually turn out to be.
We have not seen her trying to think how she will raise her child to make him the worthiest ruler of Mewar.
It's all about "me me me" and "my status" for her and even her child is merely a means to attain status for herself.
