you do know ayushman after his acclaimed movie went around and refused movies cause he demanded a katrina kaif opposite him but clearly his demands her unrealistic.

doing a fantastic debut is so easy but to sustain is the toughest thing in this industry. The likes of Asin and Ayushman had fantastic debuts and got awards etc. and got hyped but after their debut did no one care about them and today no one even talks about them.

These newbies badly wants to work with super stars like Katrina wether you want to admit it or not.

kpc is amazing film but dint generate that much money in BO
getting critical acclaim is different and getting BO revenues for a film is different 🥱
he is 1 film old and is getting a chance to to work with a A lister is huge !
if kat is not in the film it wouldn't generated much buzz #fact

This guy is actually very famous outside IF as well. Pavitra Rishta was no. 1 show on TV for a long time, especially for the first 2 years, when he played Manav in it. Zee comes on more than 100 countries of the world (I dont know exact number). So no, he is not unknown. He also did JDJ which helped increase his fans. Concerts to South Africa, Malaysia and Dubai- he has done it all and with fullhouse response. Makers of KPC and his co-stars have often referred as to how he got a lot of attention from girls screaming 'Manav Manav' when they shot in Gujarat, and in Abhishek Kapoor's own words, they were shooting in small towns/villages which had little facilities but did have cable TV. Sushant was a lot more in buzz than other actors in KPC even before the film released bcos he was already a famous face, and bcos he had offers like SDR and PK in his kitty.

Yes, he is no SRK or Ranbir - that sort of popularity he doesn't have. He is more popular amongst the womenfolk, honestly speaking, though guys like him bcos of his stint in JDJ and post KPC. But to say he is a 'nobody' and has no fans outside IF is grossly unfair as well. That's actually pretty demeaning😳. He has always been one of the most popular TV actors around, and with KPC his popularity has increased plus he has got critical acclaim.

However I do agree with you that a film with Katrina with would great for him to improve his standing in BW.

Turning point in sushant career. I dont like him much but he is talented without any doubt n i am liking thaty he is not star kid. He must be really happy if kat is working with him. Even ranbir first major hit came with kat. This movie can be major hit

Varun and Katrina have been friends way before she even entered the industry and they want to work together. They will look hot together. But also am interested in a movie with siddarth and katrina lol.

Anyways sushant is not a bad person he is average at least he is better than ranveer and ayushman.

katrina can work with siddarth, varun, arjun etc. I don't mind as long she stays far away from ranveer singh 🤢
