There's no way Mr. SLB can let Guman win like he did Devdas' sister-in-law. Saras has indeed been disturbed mentally, and exploited emotionally many, many times in his life. With so much pain the two leads have bore, and how much pain they will bear in the upcoming future, they really deserve to be together in the end. But until then, I guess I'll just crumble away along with them... it definitely beats a track like Kumud/Guman Saas-Bahu tracks any day.

thnku veera🤗my pleasure.
Exactly, agree

A tragic story line is perfectly fine...but what irks is the way the creatives have developed it! In order to create drama and raise the TRP's, they have butchered the characters of both Saras and Kumud (more so her!)...
If only they had stuck to the original storyline, whereby it is Saras's father who is responsible for the alliance getting broken, then everything would have made much more sense!
Here...first they turned Saras into a wimp, who can't face his past and abandons his woman, then they turn Kumud into some sort of Bride-zilla, who goes about burning his stuff and swearing vengence!😕😆
I mean, how on earth, is one supposed to feel sorry for such characters? Or look forward, hoping for them to get back together? They are so self-destructive, that one wishes, they would just stay out of each other's way and not cause more hurt and pain to one another!

While I respect your pov, I don't agree. I don't think they turned Saras into a wimp, I think his evil stepmom manipulated him yet again and made him reopen old wounds that never really healed. He defended Kumud's family from the villagers, he even defended himself in order to enter the haveli when Umesh and his men beat him up, how is that wimpy? When his father attacked his mother's character Saras stood up to him and defended her memory. Kumud, may have been seen reacting dramatically and angrily to whatever was said to her, but wouldn't you do the same if the man you loved with all your heart broke it over the phone and then cut off the conversation so coldly? The same passionate man who celebrated your birthday, gave you beautiful gifts and said things like the color of this sari is new after your wearing it and proposed to you in front of everyone making you feel like the most special person alive then turns into the icy cold guy he was when he first came to the village. I mean, first he rejected her in a letter and then he did it over a long distance phone call. Neither time he had the sense to do it in person, because then her family could have stepped in and helped them work it out. I don't think they are self-destructive so much as fate has gotten in their way more than once. Saras did not intentionally hurt Kumud the way his dad and stepmom hurt him, just as Kumud didn't intentionally hurt him when she married Pramad. It just happened. If people like Guman and Umesh would stay out of their way and mind their own business, then they would have a fair chance at happiness. 😳
