Last week was Chhanchhan's week ' this week belonged to Umaben ' Chhanchhan started to bounce back on Thursday though'😛

Umaben bounces back and crushes the 'suit' rebellion. Chhanchhan true to her word, asks for permission for the other three bahus to wear suits, Umaben agrees ' this time, she has learned her lesson and agrees about permission in front of both CC and KauRanSan ' Kaumudi seems to be wise to her MIL's ways and refuses pointblank. Ranjana is easily dealt with ' a few promises of new sarees, and the clincher of the naulakha haar, and Ranjana changes her mind about suits promptly, leaving Chhanchhan bewildered. 😲

Round Saree vs Suit goes to Umaben.

Next round ' Honeymoon round. CC's friends and siblings arrive with the honeymoon package. Umaben notices Ranjana's jealousy immediately, and starts planning her next move immediately. Fate is with her, in the shape of a wedding invitation for Ranjana and Manek.

Chhanchhan is starting to get wise to the Umaben Dictatorship ' is worried whether Mummyji will alow the honeymoon. 😕

Honeymoon round continued ' Umaben gives permission readily for the ChhanMan honeymoon, much to Manav and Chhanchhan's surprise and delight.

Umaben of course has no such intentions ' her plans are already under way. 😛

Fretting and fuming Ranjana is annoyed that CC gets a honeymoon, while she never got one. Exactly what Umaben wants ' a puppet. Permission to attend her friend's wedding, a free trip to maayka and a brand new saree thrown in for good measure ' and Ranjana is happy to promise her secrecy to Umaben ' she won't tell CC or even Manek about the real reason for her trip.

Umaben's plan under way ' Ranjana announces her maayka trip ' sending Chhanchhan on her own trip 'a GUILT trip ' that Ranjana is leaving home and son because of Chhanchhan's honeymoon. Umaben points out how many rules she has broken for Chhanchhan, making her feel even more guilty. Umaben's manipulations finally bear fruit. 😕

On one hand, Umaben continues to manipulate Chhanchhan ' CC tries to talk to Ranjana and gets nowhere. Ranjana continues to pack for her trip ' Sanjana obligingly cuts her finger and is excused from kitchen work ' Kaumudi is sent off to the children's tutor. Poor martyr Umaben has to do all the work. All in Chhanchhan's vision and hearing, of course.The guilt deepens ...

On the other hand, Manav is all excited about his honeymoon, goes shopping for a gift for his beautiful wife, and arranges with Simple and Himanshu to drop them ' all arrangements made for the trip, and he can't wait to leave. The excitement and anticipation builds ...

And the climax ' Ranjana ready to leave, Chhanchhan cancels her own trip at the last moment. Much to the shock of the entire family, Manav's anger ' and Umaben's gleeful satisfaction.

The first ChhanMan fight ' 😭

ChhanMan fight ' and eavesdropping Umaben is gleeful ' finally her plan succeeded. A chasm between Chhanchhan and Manav ' soon it will widen enough and Manav will send Chhanchhan home.

Chhanchhan has no intention of allowing such a thing to happen ' operation Woo the Husband is on. 😳

To make sure the unrest does not die out, Umaben cancels Ranjana's trip also at the last minute ' if CC could cancel, so can Ranjana ' if CC doesn't go, neither does Ranjana. After all, Umaben is the perfect impartial MIL. Ranjana fumes even more '

In the final scene of the week ' Chhanchhan woos back Manav and coaxes him out of his anger. He never really had a chance ' one look at the beautiful teasing nymph in white, and he was a goner! 😳

And Umaben's plan of creating a rift between ChhanMan bites the dust. 😆
