"Aadmi ki pehchaan uske naam se hoti hai na, mein uska wajood hi khatam kardoongi. Iska naam, humesha humesha ke liye khatam kardoongi. Mein Jai ko Walia se humesha ke liye khatam kardoongi. Ab meri beti ko is naam ki kabhi zaroorat nahin paregi. Aur meri beti, aaj se nayi zindagi shuru karegi." (A person is known by their name right? I will destroy his name. His name, I shall destroy for ever. I will remove "Jai" from "Walia" for ever. Now my daughter will never need this name. And my daughter will start life afresh today.)

Such were the lines of Billo Massi today.

Wow. Has she ever rightly considered that had she revealed the truth about Bani's behaviour prior to him leaving for Dubaai, none of this crap would have even occurred.

She is Jai's Massi, meaning mother's sister. Then who gave her the right to remove Jai from "Walia"? She herself, is not a Walia. Jai always looked upto her as a mother expecting her to be by his side in any time. What happened to her motherly instincts when Jai was writhering in pain and frusteration and dying each moment of enduring Bani's hatred? What was it to take, in order to break her sealed mouth? A mother is willing to everything for the sake of her child, she can go against the world if it come to be. Then why is it, that Massi stepped back at the most critical moment. The period in which her "Munna" was on the verge of collapse, shattering like shards of glass by each passing moment. She very well was aware that Jai loved Bani more than life itself, then why?

She says that Bani will not need Jai's name anymore. True enough, she never needed his name in the first place. But, if she knows Bani like she claims, breaking a piece of glass cannot separate a bond which has endured the wrath of time.

Gee, I don't know what else to say. And now she has this own secret of hers. She left her daughter for some reason. Well, she better justify herself otherwise she'll have more on "to explain" list.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

dc

Nice thoughts DC! You are right - Masi has no right to take Jai away from the Walia name. It was his father and his mothers and it is Bani's decision of what she wants to do. Masi has indeed crossed the limits today, and as Jai said earlier, Bani is the only one that can punish him- not anyone else.

Thank you... Ugh, I'm just about fed up of this dramatization. She indeed is confused in regards to her priorities and opinions. I think she needs to sit down and narrate her own actions to herself and then re-evaluate. And your last point is the ace. Only and only Bani, has the right to punish Jai. And whether she does so or not, he is already suffering, and has always been.

Very nicely said, DC! 👏 👏 👏 I really like the way you express your thoughts..

Its amazing how Maasi comes up with these wierd things to vent out her anger on Munna..first she threw him out of HIS house and announced his shraadh and chautha, then next day she vows that as long as she is alive Jai won't enter HIS house..and today its the name board..I really don't understand what she's trying to prove or achieve, bcos she has already made it crystal clear that Jai won't enter that house and Bani's life till she's alive..whether she physically breaks his name plate after that long walk from her bedroom to the gate, who cares! Everyone got her point already!

And anyways, she herself does'nt belong to that house, she is living in her sister's home..just because Jai-Bani and Jiggy consider her as their mother and have given her a mother's respect does'nt mean she can command and order as she pleases..even if she breaks a hundred name plates in the house or his companies, his name can never get separated from WM/WC..he is the one who built it and made it stand proudly with his hardwork..God! her over-reacting dramatization is really getting on my nerves now!

Maasi has to set her priorities straight and think sensibly on how to bring Bani out of her zombie state..Infact I would say Rano did choose the right path for it, by harshly talking about the ONS/EMS and making Bani relive the cruel truth about Jai and Pia..unfortunately it didnt work..

At first Maasi was shown to be a sensitive softhearted person..the creatives have flushed her character down the drains too along with J, B & P's..now she seems to be such a stone-hearted woman who cannot even forgive her daughter who committed the "grave" mistake of eloping with her boyfriend (I am assuming thats the reason for her anger with Karuna, unless there is some other "raaz" involved here 😕 )..Maasi doesnt even have the heart to embrace her granddaughter, any woman would melt after seeing their grandchild after so many years! This woman really amazes me! She has absolutely no pain or concern for her daughter or granddaughter, just sheer indifference and anger..I fail to understand her, really!

DC sorry for rambling in your thread..its just that when I start talking abt Maasi these days I just go on and on....... 😭 😡

just one question doesn't a mother have the right to punish her child. I know Jai's not her son but close enough.

dhruvie, they are showing a side of masi we never thought existed. she is as grey as the next person. Imagine after all these years she has not forgiven her own flesh and blood and accepted her grand-daughter. What hope can there be for Jai? Can there be such a person? Yep, her character is down the road to mutilation , another one bites the dust.
