"Yes, we had met but it was not a party, rather it was a casual dinner that enabled us all to catch up. Amit Thakur, Geeta Tyagi and Dishank Arora were all there. Incidentally, lead actor Gurmeet Choudhary was conspicuous by his absence. I have no idea as to why he did not attend the get together but a source close to him said that he was out of country," Kratika said.

"We had a nice time when the entire cast got closer. We have developed this closeness in the one year of our shoot. I was quite popular among the spots and make up dadas. They call me up once in 15 days to find out how I am," she added. The actress further added that she can't be like some actors who just do their work and go off. "On the contrary, we spend 12 hours a day and spend our spare time chit chatting and joking around. I have always been a fun loving and cool person," she quipped.

Looking ahead, Kratika who is going back to her home town Kanpur, for a holiday said, "I will consider fresh TV projects only after two months after I spend some quality time with my family and friends. Once you start working, you don't get time for anything else. I remember when I was in Jhansi Ki Rani, shooting out of Mumbai; I would stay there; only my friends would drive down to meet me every weekend."

One more reason for her delay in signing the dotted line is that she has a number of overseas events which she has already committed to. "This also could be one of the reasons why she may have turned down the wild card entry offer from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6. Her dates were clashing with her overseas commitment," maintained a source.
