Kaajal is the daughter of Sikandar and Laila. They are not very rich and are always looking for money. They are kinda greedy too. Kajal is a very sweet girl. Her parents have never really loved her. She shares everything with her best friend, Ayesha. When Arbaz (another main character) comes to Ayesha's house to see her (for marriage), he mistakenly takes Kaajal as Ayesha and thinks that kaajal is Ayesha. He fell in love with kaajal at first sight. Therefore he agrees to marry Ayesha. When Arbaz with his parents and family comes to Ayesha's house for engagement, he comes to know that the girl he loves is not Ayesha but kaajal. He refuses to marry Ayesha. Now the trouble starts for kaajal. Ayesha's mother accuses kaajal of snatching away the dulha of her best friend and that kaajal is evil and all that. Arbaz goes to kaajal's house for her hand. But kaajal refuses. But her parents start thinking that by marrying kaajal with Arbaz, their problem for getting money will b solved. They try to persuade kaajal to marry Arbaz.
Then comes the evil intentions of Farah (Arbaz's sister). She wants to break up the friendship between the two girls. When Arbaz calls kaajal to a place to convince her of his love, Farah takes some pictures of them holding hands. She sends those pictures to Ayesha's parents. Ayesha's parents start accusing her even more because they always loved Kaajal as if she was their second daughter. Farah's trick works and misunderstanding happens between the two best friends. Ayesha stops seeing kaajal and accuses of being a disloyal friend. Kaajal cries a lot. Both are in agony but Ayesha refuses to listen to her. Kaajal thinks in her mind that there will come a day when Ayesha will realize her mistake and she'll ask for her forgiveness and she will refuse to accept her apology. Her parents try to force her to marry Arbaz since he keeps on insisting that he'll only marry Kajal. When Arbaz's parents come to her house to finalize these things, Kajal says she'll marry only on one condition. That condition was "yeh shaadi saadgi se ho gi". Arbaz's parents freaks out. They don't want to marry their only son like that. But Arbaz agrees. So they get married.
After the marriage, kaajal starts being a stubborn. She won't go on a honeymoon thinking that Arbaz is the reason for her end of friendship with Ayesha. Arbaz asks her what he has to do to win her wife's heart. She says that he married her for only one reason. She later tells him that it was her parents that forced her to marry him. When Arbaz asks her what he could do to win her heart, she said therez only one thing that would win my heart but she refused to tell her. Then one day, she tells him about how broken she is after her friendship broke with Ayesha.
Arbaz then tries to patch up the two friends to win kaajal's heart. He goes to Shoaib (Ayesha's coworker doctor and friend) and asks for his help in getting two frnds back together. (By the way, Shoaib likes Ayesha). Shoaib tells Ayesha everything. Ayesha goes to kaajal's house but she treats her very badly and kaajal yells on her that it's too late and everything. Ayesha cries a lot and then happens the most ridiculous thing. She cuts her veins from hands. (huh!!!) At the same time, Arbaz and Shoaib are trying to explain kaajal everything. When kaajal hears about Ayesha cutting her arm or whatever, she comes running to her house. And they reunite again.
Arbaz's mother still wants Ayesha to be her bahu but unfortunately she cant. They are back frnds and Farah doesn't like this. Therez a lot more going on in the drama but for now..its enuff I guess.. its already too confusing..I'll try to write another part of the summary. Just to b clear, there r some things that I skipped.
