Chapter 18 : Mujhse Dosti Karoge?
"what the f**king hell man!!!! How is Di now? and Why didn't you just inform me about this mess, Khan Chacha?" Rey asks Khan after keeping his first step into the house. The gatekeeper has already informed him everything since morning. He is anxious, annoyed and tired at the same time.
"Rey Baba, we have tried a lot to reach you, but your phone was switched off, so we could not inform you" Khanc tries to explains his situation but without effect.
"Please don't shout, she is resting now!!" a firm female voice informs him in an orderly manner. Rey gets surprised and turns back, "Dr Desai is treating her now. Don't worry, she will be alright soon!" Taani says
"You just stay out of here!!!" he ignores her presence and rushes to Rinni's room when he sees that Dr Desai comes out with Manorama. "Mr Singhania, she is much better now" the doctor assures him. "I have given her a sleeping injection. She needs to calm down her nerves. You know this panic attack often caused due to the anxiety and frustration disorder. Try to make her feel safe and secured, she needs your love and attention more than any medicine"
"Thank You Dr Desai, I will be careful from next time. But why this happened suddenly?"
"Mr Singhania, you know her condition better nah, this can happen without alerting you before. And I am thankful to your wife, she has called me at the right time. From her only, I came to know that your house physician who is treating Rinni now, is out of town now. I told her over the phone to give a medicine so that we could control the emergency situation until I come here. Don't worry, she will be normal again" Dr Desai says it and leaves the house after taking his fees.
Rey goes to see his sister, Rinni. She is sleeping peacefully. It seems that no one can bother her for anything, billkull jheel ki taraah santh - without knowing anything about external sorrow, hate, pain,happiness anything. Rey places a kiss on her forehead, " Di, why you do so?? please aapne saare dard, saare aansu mujhe de do. Please recover soon, I am missing you"
Taani comes with the tray of juice and medicines, but she restricts herself on the edge of the room. She doesn't want to interfere this most beautiful relationship now, she doesn't know if Reyaansh Singhania knows to cry or not, but his voice definitely is trembling in emotion or moisture!!!
-three days later in the night-
"Sorry and Thank You!" she hears this suddenly after entering into bed room and her eyes become big and wide by receiving those two most unexpected words from her husband. It makes her mum for a moment, actually it is quite obvious at this moment !!! After all she can expects these from anyone but certainly not from his husband.
"Was it for me?" she wants to confirm it again
"Of course yes, I don't see anyone else other than you here" he now feels irritated. He hardly uses these words in his practical life, but when he is saying those "Thank You" and "Sorry" to that girl and she is cautiously making him feel embarrassed, it makes him annoyed.
"May I know why suddenly wind starts blowing from the opposite direction" Taani asks him with a frown face
"Strange these women!!! I simply told her sorry and thank you for my misbehavior and see her response. I will never understand them in my entire life and specially this girl, Taani..uuurrghhh" he thinks but controls his anger. After all he is in a good mood today as her Di has answered him positively by nodding her head.
" I must not have yelled at you, you understand nah what I am trying to say...about that day incident. And Thank You for calling Dr Desai for Di. She is much better now" he explains with a bit hesitation
"I wont let you go by one Sorry only, I will punish you for sure" Taani replies with a smirked.If this would have been any other day, Rey could have replied her back in his own manner, but today Rey is indeed very happy today, so he understands that Taani is trying to tease him. " So, you want to punish me?"
Taani sits on the bed and switches on the television set. "Aapko nah mujh se friendship karni hogi. Can we be friends? waise, I have made my best friend here already and you know she listens all my gossips, nagging without any complain. She is my sweetheart"
Rey tries to understand Taani's expression, but can't as she is very much busy in watching Tom and Jerry on Cartoon Network. How can she be so normal, he is astonished. He knows that Taani is talking about Rinni Di. She is really taking care of her sister for the maximum hours of a day, as he remains busy with office works.
"Hummm.."he replies back
"What does it mean by Hummm? Is it Yes or No? And you can also enjoy Tom and Jerry with me properly, okay, main nah kaatti nahi hoo!"
"It means Okay, I am ready"
"That's like a good boy!!! so mujhese dosti karoge?" she extends her hand for shaking it. "Khadoos kahika! theek tarah se haasna bhi nahi sakta. He is saying like cracking any deal", she thinks but keeps giving her cute smile so that Rey can't read her mind
"Nautanki Company!! Girls really know how to play with emotions" Rey thinks but says, "Reyaansh Singhania is now friend of Taani from today." he smiles, "And yes I used to love watching Tom and Jerry in schools, but not now. I love only Action Movies, nothing else" he clears himself
"But I like romantic movies and fairy tales. You know, in my childhood days I used to believe one day my Prince Charming would come riding in white horse and would marry me" she pauses for a while. Then after she herself breaks the silence "And there is no age limit of enjoying Tom and Jerry, Micky Mouse, Donald Duck and of course Cinderella and Rapunzel's story."
" You must have gone mad with those weird love stories and its some imaginary, stupid characters. All Love Stories are boring, illogical with high emotional drama, disgusting! I just can't stand those. How those film makers can make a movie with a hero running through a mustard field. ..Arree sarsson ke khet bhi koi romance karne ka place hai kya!!!"
"Mr Singhania, you can call me mad or anything. But please don't say stupid to my favorite love stories..."

This is a beautiful night. Everyone falls asleep except two separate individual who have just made their first step together, perhaps a little one still holding each others hand in sharing their exciting life stories. This is indeed a wonderful night with small small sharing of likings and disliking. They have fought on some silly topics like Action Movie versus Romantic Sagas. Again they have rolled in laughter too on some stupid incidents how Tom can make Jerry fool or vice verse. Days are passing normally except they now don't share that bitter experience of relationship. Few days later the granny has come to tell them something.
Pre Cap - Taani goes to meet her family and her grand mom - she discovers Piyu with someone - Taani finds out a first clue about Rey's dark past what makes her little worried.

W/N - So, at last end of all anxiety, Taani and Reyaansh are now friends, Rey said Sorry and Thank You even, but look at the days he has taken. After 2-3 updates they will come a bit closer by God's grace (mentally and physically too😉)..Guys, please do Like and Comment, these are much needed. Because these are my source of inspiration. Most probably you will be getting updates on weekend basis from now a days. I want to end it soonish w/o dragging it more, but few twists and turns are yet to come. Next update will focus on partial dark fact of Reyaan'sh life, Piyu & Simmi will be playing a smaller role in helping TR to be together, but wont say if -vely or +vely😉. PR are yet to be done.
PS: The title of this FF taken from the movie "Ajaab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani" of Ranbeer Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. I will use other songs from this movie too with the sequence.
