Samrat Harshvardhan

Harsha Vardhan (Hindi: ?????????) (c. 590–647) was an Indian emperor who ruled northern India from 606 to 647 from his capital Kannauj. He was the son of Prabhakara Vardhana and the younger brother of Rajya Vardhana, a king of Thanesar, Haryana. At the height of his power his kingdom spanned the Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bengal, Odisha and the entire Indo-Gangetic plain north of the Narmada River.

After the downfall of the prior Gupta Empire in the middle of the 6th century, North India reverted to small republics and small monarchical states ruled by Gupta rulers. Harsha was a convert to Buddhism.[1] He united the small republics from Punjab to central India, and their representatives crowned Harsha king at an assembly in April 606 giving him the title of Maharaja when he was merely 16 years old.[2]

Nasir ud-din Muhammad Humayun

he was the second Mughal Emperor who ruled a large territory consisting of what is now Afghanistan, Pakistan, and parts of northern India from 1530–1540 and again from 1555–1556. Like his father, Babur, he lost his kingdom early, but with Persian aid, he eventually regained an even larger one. On the eve of his death in 1556, the Mughal empire spanned almost one million square kilometers.

He succeeded his father in India in 1530, while his half-brother Kamran Mirza, who was to become a rather bitter rival, obtained the sovereignty of Kabul and Lahore, the more northern parts of their father's empire. He originally ascended the throne at the age of 23 and was somewhat inexperienced when he came to power.

Ahilyabai Holkar -( Warrior Queen of Malwa= Indore, Maheshwar)- She also rebuilt and commission the buildings of many temples across India; Including some Jyotirlingas; She would go off into battle with her army and so she had the support of the Army and thus power-hungry ministers could not take over the state with Army support!!! She is compared as the feminine equivalent to Akbar because of her amazing reign! Even today she is called Maa Ahilyabai and revered!
