Brief Synopsis:

Kalyaani is the story of a woman whose fate was penned down by her own father who never believed in the significance of education of a girl child and ruined her opportunities to be a true woman of a substance.

It is indeed a saga of a woman who had lost her mother as a kid and unfortunately had a father who saw her nothing more than somebody who can be fit only for the regular household work.

He was such a tyrant that he forcibly disallowed her going to school when she was just seven years old. At such tender age, when most kids would be busy attending school & playing, Kalyaani was confined to the four walls of kitchen. For Kalyaani, her house & the village represented the entire world, which could not offer her anything substantial in life.

On other hand Rama well educated boy holding a plush job as a software engineer dreams about getting married to an equally brilliant, smart & educated woman. He would often tease his female colleagues about their looks and used to criticize them sarcastically. He has an absolute high expectation about his life partner.

But destiny had something else stored for Ram and there comes an unexpected move in his life and the story takes a real twist. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, he's been forced to marry "Kalyaani", which absolutely shatters him. Further to add to his misery, he actually meets his soul mate, somebody whom he has always dreamt of and who fits his description of an ideal wife which further deteriorates the situation.

You need to wait and watch the high voltage melodrama, which takes place in Ram and Kalyaani's life… Viewers will have numerous unanswered questions in their mind such as Will Ram restrain himself and have a peaceful married life ?? or Will their marriage be successful?? Kalyani: January 2007 First Week

Rekha was Kidnapped by some gundas. She tries to escape with the help of the employee in her office. This is planned by same person . He pretends as if he saved her and calls Rekha's father and tells Rekha is in hospital. Rekha's father and Ram thinks this done by non other than Ram's Father. So they both go and argue and fight with Rams father, they say "If the same thing repeats again they will se the end of Kalyani". Rams father and mother are so upset and angry on Ram because he has no respect towards his parents. Rams mother calls Kumar, explains what has happened and urges to talk with Ram and see if he changes his mind and give respect to his parents. Kumar replies back that there is no use of talking with him. Rams mother tries to write a letter explaing that they are not causing any problems to him, instead he should realize the mistakes he is doing and change his mind. Rams father sees the letter and got mad and tears the letter and tells her if they did not do any mistake then no need to explain.

Master has changed the tuition into a different house so that Kalyani will concentrate in studies more rather than cleaning the house and preparing the food. Car Driver informs the in-laws that the master wants to talk to them. In laws go to meet the master, they noticed that the tuition location is changed.
When they met, master asks Kalyani to go get some coffee for them. Master tells in-laws that Kalyani is progressing very well until recently she is disturbed after her husband Ram's misbehavior with his father. Master informs them to make sure it is not repeated again, if it does then don't let Kalyani know about them.
Ram receives a phone call from unknown threatening Rekha. He says he missed three times and tonight sure he is not going to miss and he will kill Rekha for sure as he has given word to "Pedayanna".

Jan 2007 Second Week Updates:

01/08/07 - Monday

Rekha's father calls ram and he is not home. They all suspect where Ram went early morning without their notice. They suspect he might have gone to fight with his father.
In the mean time Ram comes and tell them that he went to Airport to pick the business man. Rekha's father says he should give police complaint on his father for threatening Rekha. Ram replies no, because her mother will get upset about this.
Kalyani's father goes to his friend and Kalyani's in-laws house. He takes his friend to hospital foe check up. The doctor checks him and talks personally to Kalyani's father and informs him that he is suffering from a harmful disease and he needs a surgery soon and not sure if it might save his life.

Jan 09 2007 (Tuesday):

Kalyani call's her sister Padu and came to know that her father lied. She has no clue why he lied. Ram's mother got a bad dream that her husband died. She wakes up and searches for her husband. He tells her that "He is not going to die until he reaches his goal (Better life for Kalyani)".
Ram is in the office thinking about his Dad's behavior and thinks he is so mean to Rekha.
Manager goes to Rekha's dad and tell that Ram wrote 5 lacks instead of 5,000 on the check, Is he disturbed with the incidents"
Rekha's dad go near Ram and tells to stay home for a while until things are better. Ram wishes to stay in office. Rekha also comes to oofice which is not liked by her mom and dad.

Jan 10 2007 Wednesday:

Kalyani's father-in law was walking on the road and feels dizzy and blood comes out of his mouth. Master sees that and holds him, later Kalyani also sees that, they both take him to home. Kalyani and her mother in-law decide to take him to the hospital.
Ram got the threatening phone call again from the unknown person, he asks Ram to come alone to a place so that he would see the "Pedayanna". He says if you want you can bring your friend Kumar only and not to bring any other person or police.
Ram goes to kumar and asks him to come with him and he tells he suspects his father is doing all this and Kumar also has a role in it. Kumar tells Ram that some other person is doing this and not his father. He agrees to come, as Ram will know the truth.

Jan 11 2007, Thursday update:

Kalyani's father in-law Raaidu Joined as in-patient in hospital. Doctor is going to operate him after 4 days.
Ram and kumar go to the place to meet the person who is threatening him. He asks them to go to 4th floor and then to 3rd floor so on. He goes to ground floor and then claps both Ram and Kumar look at him. He then says he is fooling them, "The Pedhayana is Sick and is hospitalized, so we will wait for some time."

Jan 12 Friday:
Raidu and kalani's father are in the hospital, Master comes and Raidu asks Master to promise that if his health deteriorated and he dies then "Master will take the responsibility of kalany's education and reach goal" . Master agrees and promise him that he will educate kalyani.
Kalyani calls her sister-in-law (sudha) and tells her to come and see her father as he was in hospital. Sudha's mother-in-law was happy to hear that her brother was sick and it is time to take all his property before he dies.

Jan 15 07 : Monday

16 Jan 07 : Tuesday

Raidu's daughter and her mother-in-law come to hospital to see him. Raidu's sister says all bad is happening after relation with Kalyani. Raidu asks her not to talk bad and go home.
Sneha starts liking Suresh. Suresh asks her to wash his cloths because she has right to do them "kaboye Pellam". Sneha does that with dreaming about Suresh and Suresh sits besides her and watches her. Kalyani's mother-in-law came to know through the nurse that Raidu's operation is not a small one but big and little chances of surviving. She meets him and cries that He should be alive. Raidu also cries, he wishes he would live long.
