Getting trapped by her own words, she turned away and stopped when she heard him calling her.
"Khushi.." he called her and she stood still without any movement.
"Look at me!" he ordered and turned her to face him.
"Tumhe kya lagta hai, meine itni der se yeh kurta pehen kar kyun raka hai" she looked with a surprise on her eyes and looked at him as he continued.
"Mein janta tha yeh tumhara idea hai, jithni bar turn karta hoon lagta hai ki loose ho kar yeh pyjama gir jayega" she smiled seeing his little confession behind wearing this kurta.
"Phir bhi pehen kar raka hai Tumne socha kyun?" she looked at him as he cupped her face and kissed on her forehead.
"Isiliye... tumhare chehre pe yeh smile dekne ke liye" he said as he saw the smile on her face. Now wishing to see more smile on her face, he switched on the lights and turned her towards the bed to show her the gifts.
He sighed in disbelief, after all Khushi is Khushi. How can he expect any reactions from her, She will exactly do the opposite.
"Ya..exactly check karo...Go" he replied.
He nodded to her crazy question with a smile. With that excitement, she happily un-wrapped the next gift and was stunned to see a jewelry box.
Arnav straightened himself and walked towards her seeing the tears in her eyes. She too took light steps towards him and he wiped her tears, hugging her closely not able to see her crying. They stood hugging each other for a long time and finally he came out from the hug and touched her forehead.
Khushi just looked at him as he further spoke "Khushi us 6 mahine ke contract ko bhul jao. Maine wo contract ki baat sirf tumhe rokne ke liye beech mein laya tha. Khushi mujhse ek waada karo.. ke mujhe kabhi chod kar nahi jaogi.. mein tumhare bina nahi jee paunga"
Khushi shook her head in No as her tears cascaded down her cheeks and she hugged him tightly.
"Shhh.." He shushed her placing his fingers on her lips.
"Iss pyaar mein sahi aur galat ka koi matlab nahi.. Bas ek cheez ka matlab hai, ke mein hamesha hamesha tumse..." he spoke in husky voice.
Next morning she opened her sleepy eyes and found herself cuddling close to Arnav. She felt the moment very magical and she slowly raised her head to look into his eyes, but stopped in midway seeing Arnav's eyes wide open. He took her hands in his and he went on top of her. She didn't know what her Laad Governor was trying to do early in the morning. And then, they heard someone knocking the door😈.
*Knock Knock*
"Kaun hai?" he asked irritatedly to the person who knocked the door and interrupted him.
When his grandmother replied, he quickly went and opened the door while Khushi took the dupatta from the bed and put them on her shoulders. Before leaving with Naniji, he turned back and said "Hamari baat abhi katam nahi hui hai.." with a smile making Khushi still more nervous.
She placed her hands over her chest calming down her heart beats which was beating as if there was a marathon and said "Aise laga jaise humari saansein ruk gayi!"
