Why is it that I have this snaky feeling that a Private Investigator (PI) has been hired to tag Tanveer???

The PI could have been hired by Rashid because he fears for Zoya's life. He has understood Zoya for who she is more than Asad has done. This could lead to the track of Rashid's redemption with Zoya for setting fire to the factory unintentionally burning Zoya's mother... and it could also lead to the reunion of Rashid and Asad.

The PI could have been also hired by Asad (which I somehow not sure because of the Ajmer track) and he did so because he gave Zoya a benefit of a doubt... When Zoya said her mehendi burns was due to allegry, he expression said that he did not really buy her explanation. This lead to the track that he did trust Zoya but he did not want to alert Tanveer of this.

if there is a PI involved (which i really wish is true)...i have a feeling he/she would've been hired by Asad...even i had the feeling that he did not buy her excuse of Allergy about the mehndi..and he did notice how she was looking at Tanveer when they asked how it happened...and remember he was irritated with Tanveer the whole time...and i remember watching a video (tellytalkies or tellytube or something) quite some time back where they said Asad will actually come to know about Tanveer but will keep quiet about it and not even tell Zoya to gather proof or something...

I like your way of thinking..

I really hope it turns out to be Rashid or asad cause there was some light flashing in the razia/tanveer scene.

Honestly if this happens it would be the best ever and makes so much sense...i guess something like this is the only way tomorrows episode can be good...they showed us vomit today! idiots!
