Hehe... True! But it wasn't very clear to me that it was two men there... Will have to check the scene.

Even so, all the more reason to tell young people to stop sc***ing up the lives of innocent people just cos they can't be honest about their sexuality.

But is it so bad to be gay? I mean some of best friends are gay and suhc sweet people. I mean I have no problem with homosexuality been shown on-screen if it serves an artisitic purpose. However, showing sex just for ratings it pathetic.

I haven't seen the scene so won't comment on it, but art imiates life and homosexual rights is hot issue sweeping the world right now with protests in France, Boy Scouts in the US, and hangings in other coutries, etc. So I'm glad if writers/creative artists are bringing this to light to spark a conversation b/c everyone deserves the right to be happy.

But no one wants to see this on tv, Paki dramas were the only thing left which were appropriate for us to watch with family!

True, but you always have an option of turning off the channel or watching something else. No everything is comfortable to watch, but we shouldn't be placing restrictions on the expression of art, which in mind is what shows, movies, music, and books are.

It might be improper and not apt for our Pakistani TV, considering the cultural, traditional & religious values. but this is the sad reality of life. My cousin got married to a gay too. he hadnt touched her for years, and when this came outta the closet, it was the worst way. She caught them red handed in a room 😳 This is the limit, but this happens, i dont know if it was apt enough to show on a family channel though 🤔

This might be the reality in Pakistan but I don't think it should have been shown the way it was. I think this is Hum TV's fault less and the director's fault more. She could have found out in so many different ways - why did the two have to be shown sharing a bed? I realize that Humnasheen is not a family drama but no matter what age you are, there is a general idea that Pakistani television doesn't show scenes like this. The fact that they were gay honestly isn't what bothered me - the whole execution of the scene was just a bit hard to digest.

I like that Hum TV has raised this issue though. I didn't know that it was such a problem in Pakistan, but if it is than I think this issue should be talked about so that parents can teach their kids right from wrong.

Really? I find that scene quite obvious but maybe its because i saw it after reading about it😆

But some children might take the wrong lesson from it!

My point is that they could have shown the point they wanted to without showing such a bold scene. I think anyone would feel uncomfortable. I wouldve too, if my mum was watching it with me.
