Things were no longer the same.It seemed as if the sun rose from somewhere else in the Vadera mansion.No longer were the giggles of the younger couple heard and nor were the continous taunts by Swamini.The house was dead silent from the day it all started.
The Family was shocked to know that Jeevika couldn't conceive,their hopes,their dreams,everything was shattered but they were helpless.Not just Viren and Jeevika but each and every member of the family had almost forgotten how to smile.No one ever said a word about Jeevika's condition seeing how she was.Yes! She was physically very much present,but mentally the husband wife had just wrapped themself in a cacoon of emotions nver letting anyone know how they felt.
Every day,every night she would spend at the clinic hoping for things to take a turn and be in her favor but it seemed as if nothing in the world could help her now.She had started distancing herself from everyone in the family but if there was someone who knew her way more than herself,it was Viren.She knew how shattered and helpless he was but he still took care of her,attending to all her needs,providing her with everything even before she asked for it,what else could one want besides having a life partner like Viren.
But somewhere in the corner of her heart she felt guilty for not being able to give Viren what he longed for,"A child".She knew how much he wanted a heir but fate it was.She cursed herself for something which was never in her hands.The once brave Jeevika was now eventually breaking into pieces and she cold not help it.
It had now been exactly one month since Jeevika came to know about her disease and now slowly she had started stressing herself so much that it was affecting her mental state.
It was hard for Viren to leave jeevika and go to work everday and now he was somewhat back to his old routine but things were still not fine.
One Day while viren left for work Jeevika slept after brdding him good bye and when she woke up she saw that the closet was open and she got up to close it when she found her way into Viren's closet and found a few books there which were on "How to become a good father".Her heart ached to see that she had broken his dreams into pieces.The next thing she found was a diary,she did know Viren wrote a diary but she never asked him about it.Since it was just early morning and she was bored she thought of going through the diary.
The first few pages were about their marriage and as she flipped through the book she found pictures of babies neatly placed in between the pages and what she read next was something she had never imagine.
