Episode 301 Discussion: 18th June 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 301 Discussion - EOD Summary

Sultan takes Meera home in an attempt to settle her; RK adamantly refuses Radhaji's plan to go away for few months.

Events Of The Episode

1. In RK mansion, family is gathered for breakfast at the table. Radhaji declares her intention to go to Delhi for few months to renovate her old house. RK takes this news very badly and is extremely upset. He staunchly declares that she cannot leave him and go. Both Radhaji and Madhu try to calm him down, however RK voices that he is afraid of losing his family now that he has finally managed to keep it together.

2. Meanwhile Sultan bring Meera home from mental asylum. Meera is nervous, anxious and constantly rejects Sultan's attempts to be close to her. Aryan is not very happy with this strange odd behaving woman coming to their house and openly voices his discomfort to Sultan regarding Meera. Sultan forces Aryan to bond with Meera. On TV news about RK-Madhu wedding angers Sultan. There is another news about Sitara studio reopening. Meera watches the news where photo of Mohan Kundra is shown.

and the bedroom scene with rk-madhu-radha...wow! i loved it

abhi kasar thi double meaning dialogues bolne ki ke Sikky also started off... "kal hi shadi hui hai, jaldi kaise aayega, mera bhai hai na" 🤣 hilarious Sikky..his business plan was wonderful..match making cum event planning..

breaking news, Dipali bhabhi ko sharam aa rahi thi ..

Radha had to make an announcement and RK's guesses were bombastic.."Deepali pregnant hai kya" 🤣 "aap Sikky ke liye film produce kar rahi hain"? ye sunkar paranthe bhi bhaag jayenge..

the hand holding scene was cute..specially RK's wink..Biwi is looking fresh and charming too. i like simplicity...n i wanted Madhu to wear saarees only after marriage..

Radha announcing to go to Delhi, well, the reason was pretty lame..RK overreacting was not OTT...aisi baatein ma kehti hai beti ki bidai karke but RK and her bahu are very much there..Why would she want to go ?? RK getting senti over it, but itna? shows he's too vulnerable from inside...i remember once Padmini said that when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose, but when you have everything, therez an insecurity that next moment the happiness might be taken away...so that fear is instilled in his mind n he wants his choti si duniya around him...this shows how he's gonna react to Meera's news...

Radha calling RK "shareef sa bacha" was 😲 even RK was shocked.."mamta apni jagah hai par ye zyada ho gaya ma.."😃

Bhai scenes were tolerable..ZW acted really well, i liked Bhindi pie too..usko toh bas Madhu chahiye, aur koi acha nahi lagta...but good to see Meera settled down and comfortable with Aryan...she'll get hysterical hearing MK's name...i really do feel bad for her and she deserves better...justice should be brought to her but i dun get the reason why wud Sultan ask for the rights from RK? if MK was alive, revenge banta tha but ab?

Precap, Dips and her age old bakwas..the person who is not happy in his personal life cannot see anyone happy...and always wish ill for them...with Rishbala, i'm not worried, they are alag che couple

episode was good but cv,s has trying to give many future hints by 2day epi and precap speacially RK not letting his mom go I also feels cv,s r keeping it much suspense abt Mb supporting radha or meera they r making audience even think tht she might support meera after seeing her mental status and Rk might stand for his mother and precap also hint towards it. maybe its just to raise a curiosity of audience, but I want rishbala to stand togather and Mb to think hundred times bfore supporting meera bcos sultan is also not sure abt the story told by rasheed to be completely right . and if Mb support meera and then if she turns to be wrong it might remains a bad memory in RK mind forever.

I watched yesterday's episode thrice to gear up for...you -know-what. SO I was fine, all set😆

Breakfast time: The newly wed couple walk, colour coordinated, hand-in-hand, happy and content. RK tries to embarass Madhu by holding her hand, but she wins this round...he forgets his biwi is left handed😆😆. Never forget such choti moti baatein, RK.

Sultan takes Meera ou the hospital, glaring at everybody on the road who dares to drive too close.🤔 Gosh, his angry, blue eyed glare, baat baat pe glare karna, kya hai yeh...😡. Meera is wary of his touch and is in her own world. At home, a nurse arrives to take care of meera. Aryan is curious and at the same time, scared of Meera. Sultan tries to explain to him that Meera is his mother, she needs time, and Aryan should try and get close.

RK rushes upstairs, upset with his mom, Madhu runs to pacify him. She tries unsuccessfully to make him see Rji's POV. Rji arrives and hears him say..half fearful, half sad, his life is just getting together, his family is just coming together, he cannot let Rji or Madhu go anywhere. Both Rji and Madhu are deeply affected. Rji says she will stay put. They joke around..Madhu calls him seedha as a jalebi.😆

Meera comes and watches TV...Aryan walks in with marbles, and they start slowly, tentatively playing together. News flash on TV..flashes of RK-Madhu shown, and breaking news...RK plans to reopen Sitara Studio. Meera watches...

I loved:

RK-Madhu's little tussle at the table, both look relaxed and at peace
Loved the way Madhu is soo protective of RK as opposed to always giving some gyaan. She actually tries to calm him down, rather than rile him further by telling him what's right. Sweet...I hope this attitude of hers continues.
ZW 's acting...her vacant look, her eyes that light up when she sees the mother-child, or when Aryan shows her marbles...👏
Aryan...bhindipie..good job today.👏

Did not like:

I tried very hard to feel sorry, to feel some empathy...why are the reactions so off??!! Am I to understand that this person does not have the maturity to deal with his mentally unstable mother?
When the news flash was on, Sultan should have been alert to his mother's reactions. it looked like he was seething in anger watching RK-Madhu 's wedding. One could see the rising panic, on Meera's face as she heard the news about Sitara, and all I could see was Sultan glaring at the screen.

Shaadi ke baad RK waakai bahot besharam ho gaya hai 😈 The look on Deepali's face was priceless 😆

BBB of Deepali, romantic manipulations between RK-Madhu, and RK's fear of losing his choti si duniya...enough for me to be satisfied with an episode

Don't care for either Meera-Sultan, Sultan-Aryan or Meera-Aryan bonding. I have accepted them as the thorns that come with the rose. As long as the scenes of the the rest of the cast are well written, I won't be complaining.

LOVED everyone's reaction to that.. especially Radhaji's.. she looked like she didnt know that possibility existed..

Rk's reaction was little too much i guess.. just for radhaji saying she will go to delhi for few months... maybe it was there to just show his latent fears and insecurities..

the way they showed today's over reaction I am slightly worried.. i hope he somehow doesnt loose both radhaji and madhu 😔

The other family scenes were tolerable only because of ZW and bhindipie... for a change i liked aryan.. his talk in car about ye eyes badi badi kyun kar rahi hain and all was ok initially then it was stretched too much... but it was still ok...

AR/Sultan still fails to impress me... i get very impatient during his scenes.. waiting for it to get over or for the dialogue speaking turn to swtitch to other characters instead of him.. aryan is better than him in their scenes together... with AR the way he closes his eyes and then opens and says his dialogue... everything looks like acting not natural.. his mannerisms are not effortless... so i dont get the feeling that this is really a family.. she is his mother.. he is his son.. i feel everything is being acted out... comparitively aryan-ZW scene looked better.. AR is a huge disappointment for me.. i dont think after so many months now he can grow on me.. nor can his character..

WHy do i get the feeling that meera will be bent on considering RK her son? and will not listen to any reason?

Soundarya, i think it's temporary...very soon when it'll be established that Meera was MK's wife etc. etc. , she will be sidelined and focus will be on RK Sultan only and their growing enmity..

I am of different opinion than you all..abhi ke liye and later on, Madhu will be on RK's side...their equation has changed very much hai na? n i'm getting positive vibes from them..

Well, i think Bhai gave a blank "i dun care" look to Rishbala wedding but he was seething in anger hearing MK's name and Sitara Studios..or did i miss something? 😕

As with all sultan scenes his expressions cant be deciphered... i thought he didnt give a i dont care but he was angry.. he was angry at losing madhu or because of rK connection i dont know...
