I don't really understand why people keep posting this same stuff over and over again. Arjun and Purvi had NO INTIMATE relationship after their separation so there is NOTHING apavitra about their rishta. I do not see any reason to hold these two to higher moral standards than regular people. They were separated for reasons other than misunderstandings or incompatibility, they were completely in love with each other even until the day of Arjun and Ovi's marriage ( Purvi's decision here was wrong and everyone can agree upon that.) So even after a year later it is not unjustified to have feelings for someone whom you have loved deeply enough to want to spend the rest of your life with, especially if you are forced to see them so often. (Im assuming lot of you have watched Hum Aapke Hai Kaun..which was a hit and Madhuri was to marry her brother in law - so if you want to come up with the saali-jeeju rishta argument...)
I think both of them have made a legitimate efforts to work out their marriage..maybe you could blame purvi for not being intimate with Onir, while Arjun has. Regardless, the bigger reason that Arjun/Ovi marriage did not work out is that it was because they were forcing feelings that were not there...in real life people can go their whole lifetime being ok with this. Ovi was not ok with having just mutual understanding but not the deeper love that she saw him have for Purvi...she tried and gave up...hence the video message she left arjun before she went to Canada.
Anyways, that's my two cents.
