There unknown to this evil game of love an innocent soul was going to be ruined , uday reached his home in the mid afternoon as he searched for manyata , she had been cleaning the house , she had nothing at all since yesterday as according to rituals wife is not allowed to eat before her husband ,as he entered the room just to be dump struck there she was in a beautiful red netted sari that hardly covered her curvy waist , her milky skin glowed in the radiadent of the colour red as her hair was tied neatly in a bun , she was folding the clothes and arranging them in the cup board time paused as he got so busy drinking her beauty but his chains of thoughts were interrupted as his eyes encountered her , without even wasting a second he looked away and recalled his plan ,here she saw in his eyes a different shade of love which was soon replaced by fire as he headed towards her and she walked back finally the chase stopped as she hit wall and found herself trapped in his arms , he crushed his teeths and said
UDAY:who told you to settle my cupboard
MANYATA:no I thought
UDAY:did 'nt I tell you not to think this house as your own
He said banging his hands on the wall as her eyes were filled with tears and she was shaking , tears already took there place as he said
UDAY:I think you did not get it I think I need to make you understand it
she could not react as she felt a hard hand on her cheek he just slapped her , she lost her balance and found herself on the floor , but he was not done yet he grabbed the back of her hair and dragged her to the floor while she pleaded him to stop but he banged her head against the edge of the bed , blood started to ooze out of her forehead as she cried in pain but her cries was suppressed by some more slaps and accountable kicks after completing his heart elation he went out of the room leaving her all alone drown in the pool of blood and tears , it took her hours to get up and get her wounds washed , she got into a full length salwar that finely hide all her scars as she came out just to see the devil nicely lying on the sofa and watching some cricket match she saw it was dinner time as she went to the kitchen , he looked at her with the corner of his eyes , that feeling he hated the most came to his mind again , his heart was aching by watching her , he felt so guilty as finally he turned to her and screamed
UDAY:manyata
She turned to him , now his each call scared her to hell as she looked at him and asked nervously
MANYATA:yes do you need anything
He headed to her and finally on reaching kept his wallet on the kitchen table and said
UDAY:take this and go to some doctor I do not want people to see it
Manyata nodded her head and continued to chop the veggies as he firmly caught her wrist and said
UDAY:I guess you did not hear me I said go to a doctor
MANYATA:but what about your dinner
UDAY:let me handle with my dinner now go before I slap you again
She took of her apron just to realize that she was a nave to the roads of Mumbai as she looked at him to ask him to come along as she said
MANYATA:but
There was another slap again on her face as tears trickled down her cheek and he barked at her
UDAY:I said go
As wiping her tears she went and he saw her going , she looked so beautiful her white face , the sindoor settled perfectly on her forehead and a magalsutra that danced on her neck she was indeed a beauty how could he hurt such a thing , how could he make her cry , but his thought were disturbed by a bigger problem as he said
UDAY:oh no she does not know the roads of Mumbai how will she reach the doctor maybe that is what she tried to say god and I slapped her , I must find her before it is too late
He grabbed his shirts and ran out of the house , asking each ossible person about her , a fear crept in his mind , different thoughts ran into his minds all he knew was he needed to find manyata as here the poor girl managed to go to the doctor clinic by asking people way and she got herself checked and spoke ample of lies to hide the truth behind her wounds , however the doctor got the hint of it but did not brother her much and gave the medicion she went to the chemist and was purchasing as a voice broke into her thought she turned to see it was akash her legs were rooted to the ground as he asked her
AKASH:manyata you are here in mumbai?
MANYATA:yes i just got married yesterday and shifted
just then he noticed the marks on her forehead and asked
AKASH:how did you get this?
MANYATA:i fell down the stairs
AKASH:so you are here to show your wounds to the doctor
MANYATA:yea
AKASH:where is your husband he should have come with you
MANYATA;no he wanted to but he had some work so i stopped him
just then the phone in the wallet beeped she picked it up it was from uday as he barked at her
UDAY:where are you?
MANYATA:i am near shiv medical
UDAY:wait there i am coming
the phone was disconnected as she looked at akash and then akash said
AKASH:ok manyata i need to go hope we meet again
MANYATA:bye akash
she saw him leaving as her heart tore apart how badly she wished to hold his hands and run away somewhere far from this beast but her duties kept her changed here he continue to spend his nights with jai and treating manyata like a caged animal , six whole months had passed and each day she was beaten back and blue , she suffered everything all alone the only happy moment in her life was when she meet akash fortunately in grocery stores or some where else and they exchanged a word or two , she rarely talked now , the smile had weeped away from her face and uday was the reason
