Hey @ adiani and Arshicritic. I feel embarrassed. Why apology adiani? You don't owe any. First let me apologise for a delay. Since I was required an undivided attention to my work, I haven't opened IF page since morning...
ok, @ spoiler/original etc, adiani, I edited only because I do agree with your stand up to an extent, else I wouldn't have...i can see, how spoilers kill one's intake when one wants to savour a tale cast afresh. So i agree with a contention to keep 'spoilers' at bay.
Then again, in this particular case, as arshi said, there might be a scope for some contextual references. As comparative evaluation too. Also, Arshi is right, such references may not turn actual spoiler, as the serial veers widely in adaption. Besides, when a friend ask out of contextual curiosity, I am bound to share my information as much as proper. Though my weakness is- I end up sharing more then what is asked in my zeal.š This, I will check ( as edited). But answers, I would.
Actually, I had some discussion with Srushti over this knotty issue. She is the one who had read the novel. And naturally I was eager to discuss the serial with a reader. There too, I had pointed out impropriety of the spoilers. She had mentioned a book thread. But again when we are trying to draw a topical context from the original in an ongoing discussion in a thread, such obscure pre designed thread has no relevance there, isn't it? So the compromise seems to lay in an alert ( as she suggested). We may put ' original alert' before the actual content. Then onwards, if anyone reads,it's his/her choice. Correct?š
One mention. The 'end' is such a public knowledge, its no longer in the realm of 'spoiler'. And I go uninhibited over it. Yet, i have been careful to not reveal actual subplot by which G.M.T. has executed it. Only, I have huge problem with it ( not only end, its execution). I will wait until, and if, I would be lasting that far.
So adiani and arshi please don't feel inconvenienced on this account. Let SC amuse us.š
