Aren't there Six Kalimas in Islam? Why was the Maulvi asking her to recite 5? And is that even done before Nikkahs? I haven't heard of this. And I am pretty sure there are six Kalimas. Being a muslim, thats what I have been taught. Six Kalimas. 😕 Can somebody erase the confusion please? Or is this another blooper by the CV's?

There are six kalmas.
Kalma Tayibah
Kalma Shahadat
Kalma tamjeed
Kalma tawhwed
Kalma istaghfar
Kalma Radil kufr.

And Faiza before the Nikaah i think the bride and groom have to recite the first Kalma. Thats what i have heard. But here i think maulvi just asked er aise hi.

Yes I was right. I remember how we used to recite the Kalimas in every class before the classes started in early school. There are definitely 6.

Yes but thats done by the family of the groom if required. Not by the Maulvis. 😕

1)The Word of Purity (Tayyabah)

2)The word of Testimony (Shahaadat)

3)The word of Glorification (Tumjeed)

4)The word of Unity (Tauhid)

5)The word of Penitence (Astaghfar)

6)The words of rejecting disbelief (Rud-A-Kuffer)
