RECAP: Kumud left from the room as she felt a bit awkward. Saras and Badi Maa kept talking.

Chapter 4 -PART 1

After the dinner

Saras went into his room. He fell into his bed and began wondering about the girl whom he had known in his child years. What was it that made him forget all about his past? And suddenly,

"Kyun aae ho yahan?" an irritated whisper came by.

Saras hurriedly got up and turned on the lights. He was surprised to see her, Kumud.

"Kumud?" He said in a total confused and bothered voice.

"Maine tumse kuch pucha!" she said crossly.

"I don't really get up!" and he gave a confused look, at her. Kumud raised her left eyebrow in disapproval. She turned around and closed her eyes with firm pressure and pouted her lips. She usually used to do so, whenever she felt upset or whenever she was to show up her 'akdoo' side.

"Badi Maa has learnt to live without you. She spoke the last to word clear and strong. "She smiles and spends everyday joyfully under my care love and affection." Again that 'my' went powerful. "Why don't you just return to your city and spend your life like a millionaire?"
Her voice became stern. And Saras, he was left with nothing but to wonder.

"Look at yourself, you've forgotten everything! So now, please, let us do the same!", she almost screamed. And soon, everything became silent. Saras thought of breaking the silence.

"Why do you think that I don't remember anything." He said in a tremendously hurt voice.
And Kumud, of course, she was craving to share everything with him and so she bumped in again without even realizing that he as hurt.

"Yes! I know it. C'mon did you even remember my name? Our past? Our experience?" she gave I-am-disgusted looks at him. "Do you even know that why it can't be you and me instead of our?" her voice shook as if she was about to break out.

Kumud knew that she could no longer stand there or else he will catch her weeping so she ran straight towards her room. She went to her balcony and looked at the moon and thought.

I know I'm a faded past for you but you don't even realize what you are to me. It was a time when we were two bodies and one soul but now. Look what time does to you. And time, what a power it is… it took away my love. Yes, indeed I was unconditionally in love but he? That was the question that bugs me even today. And maybe forever…

Nearly for few minutes she wanted to be completely thoughtless but then again a new set of thoughts arrived.

What the shit did I speak there? Uggh! I hate myself. Did I hurt him? Of course I did. Now I'll have to bring peace to his mind. He'll be so wonderstruck. Why did I? Why why? He has left his past, forgotten me. So why can't I just let go? Argh! Now he'll be with a million questions and what do I have in return? I love you and so I got so hyperactive that I just bumped out everything?

Kumud was absolutely in a state of confusion. She was confused about her feelings. There lied so many feelings which she kept buried for years. And this is why, she blasted out today. She got just too irresistible. Saras on the other hand was a person who puts up everything straight forward and thus, he couldn't even bare to wait for another day, to sort out the things. He ran to her room. Although, this process took a bit time because he didn't knew where she was and for sure he can't ask anyone at this time of night. Finally, he found it!

Kumud was still there, looking at the stars and the moon.

"Are you mad at me for not remembering you?"

Kumud turned about. She was Saras standing at the door with his constant on hers. He looked so damn puzzled.

"I want answer, Kumud!"

"See…I am really sorry Saras! I didn't realize what I was speaking…it…it wasn't for you! I am sorry. Go, go now!"

"I know it was so damn for me!" It seemed like he was frustrated.

"Um...I am so sorry. Please go!"

"Who in the heaven are you to order me?
"Look, that's no way to talk with a girl! I said that I am sorry and now please move."

"Then explain me, got it."

"I think I don't need to."

This statement of Kumud made him go angry.

"Hey look, I know who I am. But please give your identification? With who's permit are you staying here? Firstly, you come in so unexpectedly and then you give your speech…you don't remember? …oh I'm hurt n awl…n blah blah and then…you run off. Suddenly you ask for forgiveness and then get out?"

Miss high headed Kumud Sundari, of course, couldn't control herself and bang, here she enters again.

"Fine whatever! But look what are you doing now? Doing just the same, entering my room, bashing me! See…whatever I said was true enough for a witty person to grasp but you! Uh disgusting! It's was all so damn like a fairy tale, you meeting me, I meeting you, falling in love (yes, she did say that) and all those stuffs and.." suddenly she stopped. Maybe she understood that she just mentioned 'falling in love'
