Okay so I've decided to analyze each episode for this final week.
Today's episode started off quite interestingly. The fans of each chef were introduced and then the celebrity fans made their entry. I must say, Gurmeet and Shabbir's entries were fab, but Pratyusha's entry was quite dull. Popping up from behind people and then just walking over is not that interesting anymore. But Gurmeet's small bhangra and Shabbir picking up Navneet was quite interesting to see.
Then the dish of the day was introduced. Looks quite tasty. But I felt that they elongated it for no reason. They could have easily cut the time they took to introduce the dish in half.
Now we come to the cooking. Ripu and Doyal were quite focused and new exactly what they were doing and doing it properly. On the other hand, Navneet was completely lost. I feel that the overconfidence of winning first got to his head. He probably thought that he'll win easily. It was good that Vikas pointed it out to him that he was off track and falling far behind, but I felt that if Navneet was getting such a tip then the other two should get such tips as well.
Sanjeev went over to Doyal and my first thought was that he would give her some tip again. After all she is his favourite. For those people who haven't noticed it yet, if you look carefully, you'll notice that Sanjeev is always praising Doyal's dishes no matter what.
Then Kunal went over to Ripu and made some comments. What I liked about Ripu is that he made extra bowls to be sure that his dish comes out properly. Also he was probably the most down-to-earth and grounded person out of the 3. He knew that he had his weaknesses and that he was scared of making the dish incorrectly and he stated it. On the other hand, Navneet was all "I can do this, this is easy" and Doyal was starring at the recipe intently following it step-by-step.
Precap: It seems that Doyal's dish may not have come out properly, but from past experience if a precap shows someone's dish looking bad or someone getting supposedly bad comments, it actually means that they did well. This means that Doyal will probably actually get good comments, at least from Sanjeev.
I promise tomorrow's analysis will come earlier. Actually I made the decision to do an analysis at the last minute and that's why it's so late.😆
