CHAPTER-7.

Meera stood still in her shocked state of mind-afraid to blink,afraid to breathe louder,and afraid to move even an inch...She kept staring at those eyes,her hand still lying on the man's chest...
Finally overcoming her shock,she yanked the hand away from her mouth,that had stifled her scream a moment ago,and shoved him out of the way,with a strength born out of sheer terror,and started running away.She was halfway across the room,when out of nowhere the man's hand shot out and pulled her back.
The sudden action made Meera lose her balance completely and she bumped right into the man,and as both tried to move together,their legs got entangled.With a loud gasp they both ended up sprawled on the bed,at the centre of the room,with Meera below and the man on top of him...

Prithvi was dumb struck at what had just happened.He looked down at the person lying below him,and with a new shock realised,it was his Mango Tree Fairy!And he had thought it was a common thief!
What is she doing here?!He thought in amazement.
As he looked down at her,he found her eyes were still closed,and she was also breathing heavily like him at the impact.Her open hair was spread wildly on the white bed sheet,her soft lips were slightly parted,and her flawless skin glowed beautifully in the moonlight...
Realizing,his weight might be crushing her,Prithvi shifted his position slightly,so that his weight fell on the bed instead.But he was not ready to move yet.He did not know why,but he was not ready to let her go just yet...

As the slight movement was registered by her numb brain and body,a dazed Meera opened her eyes slowly,and stared up at a pair of familiar eyes.
"You?!"She gasped out.
"What are you doing here?!"She exclaimed,her eyes wide open with confusion.
The stranger did not answer.He just kept staring into her eyes,and then his eyes moved to her lips...A wave of something strange and unknown passed through her body,and she watched,completely paralysed as the stranger slowly lowered his lips towards hers...Her heart racing Meera closed her eyes as he came closer,and his warm breath mingled with hers...
But the stranger did not do anything or move any closer..So finally Meera opened her eyes and found him staring at her lips with a strange and tortured expression..As if knowing she was staring at him,he slowly moved his eyes upto hers and looked deeply into them...His eyes seemed to be searching for something...Seeking something from hers...Desperately wanting something from hers...
Meera could not blink,even if she wanted to...She stared transfixed into those dark brown eyes that were casting an unknown magic on her..She was forgetting everything...At that moment,she did not want to remember anything other than those eyes..She did not want to feel anything other than what those eyes were making her feel...

Moonlight bathed them on the bed,as they stared transfixed at each other.Prithvi slowly raised his hand,and moved a strand of hair,that had fallen on her face,and tucked it behind her ears,when she closed her eyes again...He traced her soft cheek lightly with his fingers,and brushed her soft lips with his thumb..
Still she lay quietly without moving an inch.Slowly Prithvi moved his lips to her ear..
"Did you come to haunt me,my Mango Tree Fairy?"He whispered huskily into her ears.

Meera's eyes snapped open,in shock,and suddenly,her mind registered the embarrassing situation.
"Let me up!"She snapped up at the stranger,now breathing heavily in anger.
Astonished at her sudden change of behaviour,Prithvi let her up,and he also followed suit.

Now they stood facing each other in the moonlit room,Meera staring daggers at Prithvi,and Prithvi bemused at her sudden mood swing.
"What are you doing here?!"She asked again with clenched teeth.
"I can ask you the same question.."Replied Prithvi.
Frustrated,Meera stamped her foot on the floor childishly,and again asked him furiously,
"Just tell me why are you here,will you?!"
"I'm here,because this is my house.."Replied the now amused Prithvi.
"Your house...?How can this be your house...?!"Asked a now puzzled Meera.
"Who are you?"She asked,with a confused look at him.
"Bhooth!"Replied Prithvi with a naughty smile.
"WHAT?!"Meera gasped out in shock,at the answer.
"If you are a Dayan,then I've to be a Bhooth,don't I?"Teased Prithvi.
"Uff!You-"
"You just talk too much..."Prithvi interrupted her,and abruptly pulled her into his arms.
"What-"Meera was about to exclaim,but her words were stifled,as his lips suddenly closed over hers...

Just wonderful . that clash was very intresting . Prithvi is very confident and charming.

Meera can't resist this man ..

But she is stubborn to admite her true feelings. I guess she will slap him after that kiss 😉

Dude, why did you have to stop..grrr. Its was a wonderful moment and you ended it right at the "event". This is sweet tourture :-) I love this story for its humor and your writing style.

🤣M sorry...😃I had to stop..Dere r rules on how much 🤬stuff u cn add in FF...Nd also I hd to gauge ur reactions..If most of u wants it..I might try for da fireworks continuation in next chapter...But if u all want it only...😉So all of u who reads dis story plz comment if u want me to turn the heat up or to lower it...😳
