Jhanvi,
Other than all that has been said, what will work for her is if Arjun has a major accident or disease and gets permanent amnesia when he forgets Purvi existed at all :) ofcourse little bit of hypnosis on him so he thinks ovi is the beg and end of his life will help her !!
Did u notice that when she asked purvi that question about aborting the baby, the beautiful Aai was not shocked at all !! I guess her sanskaar standards are different for different kids !
Jyo, Arjun with amnesia would make Ovi happy but she would want Purvi dead for good measure too. What if Arjun meets Purvi and falls in love with her all over again would be Ovi's constant nagging worry.
I watched Aai's face again on the big screen and yes, she wasn't too surprised at Ovi's question. I really cannot understand how conveniently Archana has forgotten that Purvi gave up on Arjun the day of her marriage so that her Aai could get back that akal less husband of hers. I don't understand how it is that Archana was betrayed. I can understand her shock, her anger, her hurt at her daughter getting pregnant before marriage but to treat it more as a personal strike against Archana is incomprehensible to me. Purvi let herself down by giving up Arjun no one else, everyone stood to gain except for the two idiots involved, Arjun and Purvi.
If it was a different situation where a daughter came and stood pregnant before her mother, Archana's reaction may be warranted, but this was the daughter with the guy she was set to marry the next day and gave up for her, Archana's sake at the instigation and ploy of her other selfish daughter. Any mother would be heartbroken that such a sacrifice had been made for the sake of her happiness. Feeling for Ovi is right as well as however wrong selfish Ovi is (will it be okay to call Ovi as Ovil as Purvi is freely referred to as Purevi on the forum without any repercussions?) she is still Archana's daughter. But banishing one and consoling the other is just not the way to go.
