Why only the baby?

After last night, I am kind of wondering why Ovi asked Purvi why she did not abort the baby? I mean the baby is a connection but the bigger threat is Purvi herself. I think the question should have been 'If you wanted Arjun and me to be happy, why did you not just kill yourself?"

Baby or no baby, there is no denying the emotional connect between Arjun and Purvi, Even when he believed that she bore Onir's baby, Arjun continued to love her. And even when he moved on with Ovi at her insistence, Purvi found it impossible to forget Arjun. Unfortunately, while the mind recognizes the laws laid down by society, the heart does not. And love is not some tap that can be turned on and off at will. So, like it or not, Purvi's very existence will always remain a threat to Arjun-Ovi relationship. Just like a baby cannot keep two people together, the lack of one is not necessarily going to keep them apart.

Maybe like Drona asked Ekalavya for his thumb, Ovi should have asked Purvi for her head on a platter. Maybe then her marriage would have been protected for a lifetime. But wait, what if Purvi came back as a ghost to haunt Arjun? Or better still, took control of Ovi's body and lived with Arjun. Like the ghost in Paheli who possessed SRK in order to remain forever with Rani. Now that would be fun to watch. Hope Ekta Mata reads this one 🥱. She might just adopt this in one of her forthcoming shows!

If she wanted him at all cost then she should bear the consequences too.

What she wanted at all cost, now comes with Pari's existence as that "all cost".

Is she waiting for Pari to automatically vanish from the face of the earth and then will that make it alright for her to go back to Arjun and continue with her married life? In short is Ovi waiting for Pari to die?

At the moment since Pari is there, Ovi is trying to deal with the "smaller" (in size) issue.

Even if Purvi sacrificed herself it would never be enough for Ovi.

Yesterday, Ovi proved that shes quite inhuman, with no compassion, feelings or any human emotions. She doesnt even love Arjun, thats just her ego and zidd to get something she cannot have! If she really loved Arjun, she would have been happy to be his wife, she would have tried her best to make the marriage work, instead of trying to drive Purvi out of Arjun's mind! Even when Purvi was nowhere near, she just kept on harping on Purvi and feeling insecure that Arjun was thinking abt Purvi. She wanted to control his thoughts too! What a horrible control freak!
